Re: Modelresearcher Face problem.
Most likely it uses sub-meshes, so you will need to add others and find the start offset of each vertex and face section - usually each face section starts again from 0. There will probably be a table somewhere in the file with that info, but there's no indication of what game it is and no sample fi...

Re: (PS3) Resident Evil 4 HD (DAT.CRC) Audio files
The CRC file looks like a bunch of offsets, but they don't match with the files in the audio archive.
Extracting the audio files directly also seems wrong - they play partially but then seem corrupt.
Is the .dat file exactly as it is in the game or has it been decompressed or anything?

Re: The interleave of PS2 game Rozen Maiden: Gebetgarten
Yeah, it's highly ..like protected? I'll leave it for now and hope someday come across a proper method. Thank you anyway. There are rips out there of the music, but I haven't checked how complete they are. You can use my attached QuickBMS script to extract the music and dialogue as playable .ss2 fi...

Re: Starfield .ba2 Files Tool?
Hello, is there a tool to unpack the archive file to localize Starfield? I think the language file is here. https://www.mediafire.com/file/3h5zu3ktf6pr6fk/Starfield+-+Localization.rar/file You can extract the basic files from that archive with this QuickBMS script. The extracted files are archives ...

Re: Need help converting LSW Castaways .vaff format
I've never encountered this type of .vaff format before with regards to audio, if anyone has any idea how to go about decrypting/converting I would gladly appreciate your input! :D Link to the game audio: https://mega.nz/folder/OmQQWYrA#WH4AHBV9iRqLvIdojiQd5A It's just a container for a normal RIFF...

Re: Music Generator DAT File Unpacking?
My QuickBMS script here should work with MTV MG2 at least: https://github.com/DKDave/Scripts/blob/master/QuickBMS/PS2/MTV_Music_Generator_2_(PS2)_WAD.bms If Music 3000 uses the same format it may work on that too ... That's great thanks, it worked. However, is there anyway to modify the script so a...

Re: Music Generator DAT File Unpacking?
I'm not sure, but I think the source code to Wadtool is available here: https://github.com/juju2143/wadtool If anyone has the time, desire, and ability to update it so that it's compatible with the above mentioned titles DAT files... Also, here's a link to wadtool.exe as the download links on githu...

Re: Pikmin 4 .wem
I'm trying to convert the .wem files from the Pikmin 4 demo to a listenable audio format, but I can't figure out how. One tool I found made wav files but those files were just blank. Can anyone help? Re: .wcp Happy Feet 2006 videogame sound files problem
The files in your link don't contain any audio - the wcp file is very small (and compressed) and the sbk file is blank.

If you rename the files to .opus instead of .opu, they will play in Foobar/vgmstream

I had a quick look at the one that didn't work and corrected my script. Hopefully it should be fine on all archives now.

Re: The Guild: Gold Edition audio files [.sbf]
I've only tried it on a couple of your samples, but here's a QuickBMS script to extract the .wav files, which play fine in Fooba/vgmstream (they're MS IMA audio).

Re: Forza Motorsport 3 (XBOX 360) - .XMA files problem
You can just drop the fsb file(s) into Foobar (with vgmstream plugin) and you'll be play/convert them from there if required.

Re: Star Wars: First Assault Audio
It's a WWise audio archive. If you delete the AKPK segment (i.e. everything from the start up to "BKHD"), rename the file to *.bnk, and then it'll load into Foobar/vgmstream. At least, I couldn't get it to play with the AKPK section intact.
