Re: Assassins Creed PC .forge files

I tried to use Maki, and it did a lot of things wich... i dont understand xD Since the original creator of this tool is on this forum, can someone explai...

Dear Turfster can you make support skinning data? You mean loading files back into the forge files to make changes to the models in the game? Not going to happen. Since I don't have the PC version of the game, the plugin will only do exporting. Anyway, there's a new version up with some minor chang...

Re: Assassins Creed PC .forge files
Hello friend Turfster, this new plugin (Lucy) is working perfectly here, but he is not converting the file I want. I know you said that in AC-II it only converts the textures, but is not there a way to convert the file I want? It is a simple text file (txt) that I need are those, both are within th...

Re: Assassins Creed PC .forge files
Unpacking archives and conversion of some datafiles (only textures for ac2, more types of files for ac1) How confident are you that you got it 100% unpacked? Do you think there's other data unextracted there? Oh there's shitloads of data I haven't decoded yet, but all files should get unpacked fine...

Re: Assassins Creed PC .forge files
What's the status of this? Unpacking archive? Unpacking data files? Unpacking archives and conversion of some datafiles (only textures for ac2, more types of files for ac1) Anyone know what file contains music? I have no idea, since I only got the one file =p It's probably DataPC_StreamedSounds.forge

Re: Assassins Creed PC .forge files
For all the people wanting to look in AC2 forge files and at its textures, try the new Lucy plugin. Only had the one forge file someone sent me to work with since I own the PS3 version myself and am not planning on double-dipping on the game, but extraction from forge files should work, as should te...

Re: Prince of persia
Sorry, don't really have the time anymore (or the inclination, to be honest) to work on any of my existing code (or any new code) at the moment. For POP, you should be able to edit the subtitle files and font and replace them in the relevant forge file. For AC, I'm missing some vital information tha...

Re: Assassins Creed PC .forge files
Try Maki with the Animus plugin.
Replacement of datafiles in forge files doesn't work correctly yet.

Re: Prince of persia
New update now includes the basic conversion of a couple of mesh types to OBJ files. (thanks to a kick in the head from fatduck)
For the people waiting for audio, that's not my priority, so I suggest using decubisnd, which should work with both games.

Re: Prince of Persia 2008 vertex data
Doh, thanks.
I'd tried with float16s, but they weren't fractional, so I'd abandoned and moved on. -_-
(really weird storage method btw, if the 4th 16 bit value is positive, you need to change the sign of the xyz values)

Prince of Persia 2008 vertex data
Been staring myself blind on this one for far too long. I've figured out a few of the other formats (getting somewhere with the character meshes was actually easier), but I can't put my finger on this 28 byte vertex format used for static stuff. Following the standard "first 12 bytes are 4 32bi...

Re: Prince of persia
Crap, you're right. Guess AC is a lot more strict on its files than POP is...
