I know support for side characters never got added to the tool, but I was just wondering if there was a way to load the individual mesh files so I could have a go at extracting side characters. Many thanks 👍

I can't get any WWZ characters to load at all. I don't think there is a problem with the tool, it's just something I'm doing wrong on my end but I just can't work out what. :[

Not sure i had no issues in converting textures. I did py install click in CMD then placed .bat and .py into same folder as textures than then ran the bat. There is nothing else to do here. Did you manage to convert the AO maps for characters? I'm having trouble converting those. did you figure out...

Mesh and texture tools based on our early research. Meshes: Mesh importing is handled by Blender. v2.93 is the only tested version, but it's likely compatible with anything newer than v2.90. Ok, fixed the problem. For anyone else, you have to lower the resolution size for some textures in the dds header. For example, you may need to make a 1024x1024 header say 512x512 to make the texture load in noesis correctly.

Thanks, this method works great for the textures from Sniper Ghost Contracts for about 90% of the textures. Some of them are still not converted correctly no matter what I do, however. Would anyone here be ok to receive a PM with some sample files that I can't convert?

Quick bug report for Sniper Ghost Warrior Contracts.

There is a small issue with the meshes converted from this game.

The skeletons/armatures of the meshes are converted correctly, but the meshes have no weights on them when converted, so the skeleton cannot be used to move the meshes.

Done some more testing. I am now able to dump textures from the textures4 .forge, but like Custard, I can't get any diffuse textures out of it. i dont think it holds diffuses..
