Thanks,
Thanks for the fast reply. I copied the lzo.dll into System32 and SysWOW64 which is the 32 folder on 64 bit. I got this error

I don't mean to drone on, but how about an update?
I ask now because with revelations getting released soon, this is gonna become a popular thread :)

I'm curious, are there actually any plans for more functionality for Beyond good and evil? Sadly the old Jade plugin only allows you to unpack the main container, not actually get anything useful out of it :(

I just use virtual box with windows7 32bit. I export the models to a shared folder(between the virtual pc and my computer).
This does require installing all the games onto the virtual machine.

Also, to export models from revelations, just copy paste all .forge files into the root folder of brotherhood.
I have exported many models, and i only get an issue on one of the models(i think its old altair's beard).

Also bump for update. :]

ForgeX Beta 2 Released

Post by MichaelDarkAngel »

ForgeX Beta 2 has finally been released.

Complete and total rebuild, a very basic model viewer has been added, support for AC: Revelations and Shaun White Skateboarding has been added.

If ForgeX cannot find your installed games via the Registry, you will now be asked to point to your install directory. This has the potential to incorrectly identify which game you are trying to open. Multiple games can be added by right-clicking an empty area of the tree view window and selecting "Add Game". This is a per session addition, meaning: Every time you start the program you will need to add your games. I may fix this using ForgeX registry entries.

Yes there are bugs, some I am aware of, others I'm sure you will find.

Prince of Persia 2008: Model files do not appear in the model viewer properly, once extracted do not import into [insert 3D program] properly.
AC: Revelations: Unable to view/export beard model files.

At this time the only extractable file types are image files and model files.

For image files you can right-click the image in the right-side panel or right-click the file name in the tree view window after selecting it.

For model files you can select one of the "Export As" buttons in the right-side panel or right-click the file name in the tree view window after selecting it.

Unfortunately I have yet to figure out bone structures.

Thanks for your support,

Hey,

Thanks for forge x. Got it working eventually through a virtual pc on win 7 64 (so if anyone else is having problems on win 64 do it that way)

I was wondering if there is a possibility to just extract all files/textures in one go? (sorry if I have missed something really simple! :D)

Thanks

Mark

No you didn't miss anything. I'm working on that for the next release.

Any chance to get some descriptions or sth about forge format from you? I know the guy who makes translations for x360 games into Russian... But forge is too hard for him. If he had descriptions or sth he would manage to make a translation.
Are you able to share the source code with him? Or you don't give it to anyone?
