Like I sad: The (dmc4) arc files compressed with LZX. Not the MSG2 with msg extension! This text files are not comperessed, just encrypted, like Shadow of Memories game's text files.
And no, there is no tool, as i know. And I can't "extract" the texts, yet.

If you need something new, there is it. This is the dmc4's abc (not complete yet). The character and the hex code in msg2.
I want to write an editor to this, but just after summer. (If until no one can.)

Model Converter

Hi,
here's a first release of the model converter for you to try.
all you need to do is type in the model filename you want (ex: model/model01.mod) and the program will create the corresponding .OBJ file.

at the moment only position data is exported, tex coords and normals will come in a later release.

stage model seems OK, but human models, enemies, bosses need some rescaling so I'll leave this to you!

don't hesitate to report any bugs or suggestions.

Does anyone know which file is the *. ARC texts (captions) of the game??.

I will try to make a tool to extract the text.

All MSG file. Like this: DEVILMAYCRY4\nativePC\movie\adv_for\*.msg
The DMC4 not use this files, but the adv_e.msg file contain the beginning video's subtitle (DEVILMAYCRY4\nativePC\movie\rom_for\adv_for.wmv)
