Re: Prince of persia

(Slight thread necro ;))

My new plugin platform Maki + the POP2008 plugin Elika allow you to extract/replace files in the new Prince of Persia for PC.

Re: Assassins Creed PC .forge files

Added my writeup for the forge format to the wiki.
Hope I didn't mess up the copypasting and the bytecount, it pretty much took more time to write than to code the basic extractor ;)

Re: Assassins Creed PC .forge files

New final build for the night (280408-0335) has more bugs fixed and should extract pretty much every texture correctly (as far as I've been able to test anyway).

I could use some betatesters and comments.

Re: Assassins Creed PC .forge files

Ok, try this very, very early beta of Animus. Most of the datafiles should be extracted and unpacked successfully (except the ones that state "Hacked patch" and don't match my quick file format writeup, those are prolly screwed ;) This includes sound files at the moment). Haven't done any ...

Re: Assassins Creed PC .forge files

Doing some work on this format, since Assassin's creed runs on an updated JADE engine.
Hope to have a first data file unpacker done by tomorrow.

I haven't touched a single line of code since last year due to being overseas and having a total work overload, and I don't see it happening in the near future to be honest, so all current projects (including solidus) are on hold indefinitely. MGS3 support wouldn't have been ready anytime soon anywa...

They're block-split VAG streams without headers.

Grab the new build off the site . It's pretty hack-ish at the moment, but mono files *should* be decoded correctly. Stereo files get decoded to 2 mono wav files, but they still clip occasionally. Anyway, see what it does if you throw more files at it, and check if for example the pitch is right. Don...

Short interim update for the current build : I polished off most of the problems with the effects code, so now you should be able to extract (most) soundeffects and enemy speech from the SDX files. There are a few files whose timestamps differ from the others that aren't converted correctly, but mos...
