Re: Forza Motorsport Resource Extraction (.carbin)

I've checked on several models for lot of textures, and each time UV mapping is maximized on texture map, so this second set of coordinates should be the input and output rectangle delimitation of mapping area into the whole square.

Re: Forza Motorsport Resource Extraction (.carbin)

Is the format of the second set of coordinates like (x,y), with both values included between 0 and 1024 or 2048? Then this should be this...

Re: Forza Motorsport Resource Extraction (.carbin)

Energien, may a suggest you something about the second set of coordinates you get for UV mapping? I don't think it's a scale factor, but a onmap placement coordinates. When I edit UV map with your last version of Forza Studio, I think that mapping coordinates are correct, but extended on all the sur...

Re: Forza Motorsport Resource Extraction (.carbin)

You don't have to transit anymore via ZModeler before importing into Max. Forza Studio OBJ can be now directly imported into Max.

Re: Forza Motorsport Resource Extraction (.carbin)

Second UV I would say is bump mapping, I have seen quite a lot of bump maps. Specially for interiors, the interiors use more bump mapping for different leathers etc. I don't think same object may have two mapping coordinates at the same time, even if it is for two different maps (i.e. coordinates A...

Re: Forza Motorsport Resource Extraction (.carbin)

Datas about rims placement and tire sizes are stored into *.slt tables in the 'db' directory, which include for each car lot of settings for the game. You may easily check them using a SQL viewer/editor. Previous version of Forza Extractor (7.9.10) didn't get correct scale for model, but last beta (...
