Re: PS2 File problem? ADPCM
Just FYI, the interleave is 0x6200. In the future, for most PS2 ADPCM files, you can copy the first 0x10 bytes of data , and do a search for them in your hex editor. Typically the next instance of those bytes will indicate the interleave. For example, your sample has the following bytes at offset 0...

Singstar (PS2) .PAK files how to open and/or extract
Hello I am trying to open a bunch of PAK files from the PS2 game Singstar Rocks and I am having trouble. I've tried all of my game ripping tools and none of them can open these files. I saw a couple of extractors online but one was infested with malware and the other was in pieces and not possible t...

Max Payne 2 (PS2) .RWS files
I am trying to convert the .rws streams from the PS2 version of Max Payne 2. I've tried extractor, Game extractor, and ADPCM Player. I have tried using MFAudio to no avail and ADPCM player which only lets me read and convert the music but not the SFX and voices, Those end up having two different cha...

Re: Turok Evolution .TRE archives
The func_getTYPE.bms is located here: http://forum.xentax.com/viewtopic.php?f=13&p=69577#p69577 Thanks for the script, it did work. I'm after the SFX and music. They are stored in either .VAG files or .AAA files inside a sound.tre archive. I need to get the right interleave of the files. I'm us...

Re: Turok Evolution .TRE archives
I know this was a REALLY long time ago and I normally don't do this, but I just found a way to get the original folder structure for these files!!! :) Seems like the array sorting function isn't so useless after all. ;) So here's the final script: # extracts the contents of the TRE archives from Tu...

Re: .NAZ Files - Total Overdose Main Theme song.
Hi I am looking to rip the main theme song from the game Total Overdose the one that plays in the main menu when you load up the game. I tried opening up the .NAZ files with Game Extractor (works beautifully) and I played all of the OGG files but none of those are the main theme song. Does anyone kn...

Re: Help with Jaeder Naub
Nope, same two errors depending on how it's opened. I really appreciate all the help, but in the mean time I ripped sounds out of another ps2 game, BLACK, instead. So if you still want to help I'm all up for it because Jaeder Naub looks like a wonderful tool. Pepper How did you rip the sound out of...

Re: Stuntman PS2 .IMG
This program was created especially for Stuntman so that even its creator cannot guarantee its compatibility with other games. These IMG archives seem to be extremely rare and each game with an IMG archive can use its own special format of it. As for myself I`ve never seen such archives anywhere el...
