Graphic style might be the same, but that doesn't mean the model format is the same.
That aside I never finished the animation processing for HoMM VI, because good luck getting anyone other than the Noesis author to help you with animations.

I haven't touched a model format in over a year and I don't think I still have the files for the format.

Edit: it looks like I was rewriting the script somewhere in 2013 but ragequit because the animation was some kind of stupid granny format.

This has nothing to do with the current topic, but I just want to say I love you mr.Adults for the support on mld and valve files. They make my life a lot easier to create 3d models/items for dota 2.

Why does it keep telling me to log ino dropbox when I am already logged in?

Anyways, is there a granny2.dll or something that you have access to for DDC, perhaps we can hook some functions and make the magic happen that way.

Eh???

model == object? and each model is built from one or more meshes? What other objects are there that meshes could belong to? I see why MrAdults says you should read up on what everything means, you seem to be confusing terms.

yeah, i've seen the inc_noesis.py, but these are part of "mesh" class and i don't have a mesh object when using the rapi interface.(right?) Just butting right in because I can. I haven't read the entire thread so I don't know why you need the lists from the rapi interface instead of readi...

As for the export handler, lets say I have a bsc converted to obj file, how would the obj file contain the same original bone name's? Since in order to convert it back to .bsc I would need that data as well. Is there a reason it has to be .obj and not .fbx or .dae? You could create an extra NoeBitS...
