Re: Compressed PVR files
Hey @aluigi, can you take a look at this one? It seems that they changed the compression scheme. Of course I already did the easy thing: try changing the signature in your script :p and of course, it doesn't works. (Same game, newer version).

Re: Star Wars Pinball (PS3) *.PXP File
Hi, I tried the above qbms to extract the files from kickbeat and worked ok. Now, I can't make the decompression script works on the sound files, as they do not start neither with 0x3 nor 0x4. They are mp3 files that seems to be compressed with an unknown algo. If you drop the files on any music pla...

Re: DX Archive Unpacker
I really didn't took the time to try to understand the compression scheme, but it looks like some kind of pattern compression. In any case, since you are using c#, it would be pretty straightforward to convert that code to c#... you can almost copy/paste the code. I did a really quick conversion, ca...

Re: Flex binary file format
Well, the readObject deserializes a byte[] into an object/class, so there you have your object. It's serialized using the standard amf0/amf3 formatter in flash. Look up for the documentation on the format online. It's open source.

Re: IPhone/IPad PNG Fixer
The application needs .net 4.5. Make sure that you have it installed before you try to run it. Didn't check on XP since I do not have it to test. But it works fine under W7 x32 and x64.

Ok, not sure why.. seems to be a problem on the blog, because I uploaded the file again and I also get the error. Anyways, I attached the file to the original post now.

Mmm... I put a link to the tools page on the xentax blog (so if I update it I don't have to maintain 2 versions)... is that ok?

IPhone/IPad PNG Fixer
Hi everybody, Since I was tired of looking for a tool that can convert iPhone/iPad iPngs(tm) :) to standard pngs and found none that works reliably, I decided to create one from scratch. After a couple of hours, here you have it . It is a console application, so do not expect any fancy graphics. And...
