But yeah your the 2nd person to mention that the newest solidus seems to export textures wrong.
Me i havent really got the tiem to try it out at the moment.
But everything was workign fine for me a while ago on C.
I sent some guy C and still he had the same problems.
Maybe its your computers settings.
I remember before that regional settings seemed to efffect certain things.
Im sure turfster is fixing this anyways.
Just gotta wait till the next releASE I GUESS.

Would you mind if i were to ask what your are working on now for Solidus.
Ie: mgs twin snakes, MGS2, MGS3?

I wonder what it was that caused the error in the D solidus then lol.
Just a simple spelling error?

Nothing much at the moment, I'm afraid.
X_Tra is working on the MGS3 decryption.
I could use some more TTS kmy files to work on, if you want me to do that next.
I wonder what it was that caused the error in the D solidus then lol.
Just a simple spelling error?

Yeah sure if you want the TTS kmy files then il email you some as soon as i can dude.
Yeah i saw the "header decoded" file that got thrown out when i texted mgs3 stage.dat.
in this version of solidus MGS3 BGM.DAT seems to KINDA work, it cant extract or convert unfortunatly though i guess il send you a cut part of the file to check out within the next few hours.

Il also give you the TTS bgm.dat to see if you can get anything out of that, seing as thats the game that the Soundtrack was never released for.

Im nto too bothered about the MGS2 animations but i think that the _D_I might want them.
Also seing as the newer mgs2 .obj files dont work in maya the two of us are thinking of a way around it, she doesnt want to learn Maya scripting and i just dont really have much time recently to give it a go.

So if you could somehow change the .Obj conversion thatd be pretty darn cool dude.

il send you all the giles i can in this topic i guess.

Im back at uni now so it doesnt look asthough il be posting them files for a good 24 hours.
Sorry man.
Gone out drinking il post them soon as i can ok.
I dont think the TTS BGM.DAT really matters after all because all the normal music can be taken as its all in seperate files but the BGM.DAT is still there so maybe it contains the music for the Demo scenes form the game.
So mayeb il post it after all then.

Oh yeah i KNEW i forgot to ask him about soemthing.
But tbh its not exactly ahrd to jsut flip them yourself, though so many people want to use the models but dont understand very much abotu 3D software that it might be handy if Turfster had a look into this little Problem.

i can flip them myself on the kmy models its no hard but on the evx there ae so many face flipped plus if you edit the model something weird happens to the model it gets all blocky
and i hate that since i cant find a kmy of solidus

yeah the .EVX fiels take much longer to edit indeed.
But blocky? what are u talkign about there man? if your using an unregistered program then normally it only lets you have a model of SO MANY polygons, that might be your problem.

ive got no idea what you mean by this one man?
If your on about the MILKSHAPE .KMY importer then i dont know how often thats updated, but im pretty sure it has been pretty recently aswell.

But unless your on about that then i honestly have no idea.

And yes i emailed turfster and asked him if he knows whats causing the mass unflipped NORMALS on the .evx converted files.

ok then.
As for the SOLIDUS CHARACTER jsut simply look for it, its in the later folders obviously, and also in many of the PLANT DEMO FOLDERS.
best thing to do is go abck a page or 2 and read my guide im sure i put his location in there u know/

Strange.
but then again. Solidus is always a nice model so maybe he doesnt HAVE a kmy u know, because in the scenes where u see him he always is an EVX files and in the FINAL BATTLE he is also higher def aswell if i rmember the files correctly.

Hello all!

Been a long time since I caught up with the latest version of Solidus and whats been happening here.

Anyway, Lionheartuk, I got a question for you.

I've managed to make iso's of MGS TTS from my GC and streaming it to the PC. But now how do I access the files to get to the textures and models?

Everytime I open the iso with winrar, it says the file is damaged or corrupt. Am I supposed to use some other program to get to the files on the iso?

Keep up the good work Turfster! I was hoping you could also work on Resident Evil 4 when it comes out on the PC! That would be a dream come true! I think RE4 has the best graphics EVER! ...well for the current gen consoles. Either way I'd greatly appreciate it! Thanks Again!
