Re: Forza Motorsport Resource Extraction (.carbin)
Epic win.. That's all I can say mate.
Edit: Something that came to mind, the Pagani Cinque Roadster is a Autovista car. I noticed in your forzastudio progress that the full modeled engine is not there or is that part of the cockpit LOD0?

Re: Forza Motorsport Resource Extraction (.carbin)
Looks like the standard Zonda Cinque to me and not the roadster.

Re: Forza Motorsport Resource Extraction (.carbin)
Forza 4 has the Cinque Roadster only, Turn10 put the soft top up on it. The difference with the Cinque Roadster and Cinque (Coupe?) is the air scoop.
I believe you can take it off the Zonda Cinques soft top during Autovista mode (Don't quote me on that)

Re: Forza Motorsport Resource Extraction (.carbin)
That is true but even the other cars that you cannot drive in the demo still have their full cockpit file, acting like a full car. Guess we'll have to wait till the release, I honestly thought as a LOD0 model they would just have it rendering with the car. Guess to save FPS they kept it separate maybe.MMWsmokey wrote:toolieo, the demo does not have autovista. i could imagine doorsills and engines maybe only in the final game ... ?
Re: Forza Motorsport Resource Extraction (.carbin)
a very good step Ernegien.
infortunaly ,i try a lot of time to import one track on forza3 , don't work ....may be i don't make some thing at one moment .
cars render perfectly
can you explain , may be step by step ,the import of one forza3 track with our amazing forza studio 7.9.10 ??

And explaining by step by step is not an option.
And of course the cars render perfectley, I mean Forza Studio for FM3 is perfect.

Re: Forza Motorsport Resource Extraction (.carbin)
The Cinque Roadster is a removable hardtop. It has no automated folding mechanism to save weight - much like Koenigseggs and all other previous Zondas.toolieo wrote:Forza 4 has the Cinque Roadster only, Turn10 put the soft top up on it. )
With the top still on the Cinque Roadster, it is not distinguishable from the standard version.

Re: Forza Motorsport Resource Extraction (.carbin)
Alright guys, no need to get worked up over things For an update, I have yet to figure out the scaling method (or possibly my imperfect conversion of their 16 bit fixed-point format to floating point) used in order to generate the models properly. The missing calculation seems to be per-piece, and would likely take place after the part offsets have been applied to the vertex positions, but that's about as much as I know at the moment. Each piece does have bounding box information, and I've been trying several different formulas to no avail. I'll probably be stepping away for a day or two and coming back with a fresh mind in hopes that something obvious will present itself...
