So what's the rule on charging people for models? Is that a thing? I didn't realize that was a thing. Someone is charging for last of us 2 models. Does daemon1 get a cut for their tool?

It's obviously completely forbidden. You can sell tools you make if you want but in no way you should sell copyrighted assets.

I guess I pissed them off. My bad. I was just wondering. I've never had a problem with donating or subscribing to someone's Patreon, but at $15 or w/e it was a pop that was a bit excessive. They probably would have gotten more help by being honest about their situation, releasing the models, and asking for donations to help.

The only guy deserving a donation here is Daemon for working during several days on the game. The other guy did nothing and just used it to sell copyrighted assets, which is completely illegal. You shouldn't give him anything.
