i'll stop shitposing on coregrafx, coz google translate doesn't make much sense for me.

though i think this post(some guy replied to me) is saying that the tmcl files use not 3 but 4 bytes for xoring. the actual post:

Code: Select all

TMCL用の"xor bytes"は4バイト、actual keyはNo.12422の文字列を2回繰り返したもの(1044バイト)
[edit]
seems like this is true. it's interesting coz file name extension tmcl is four letters length, maybe this has something to do with the length of the xor bytes... need somehow to find out if for files with longer file name extension the key is longer

Ok, the good news is tmc's are back to functional. :D Once again, Nice job, chrrox!

I did a quick mod test using a newly extracted .tmc plus a ram dumped .tmcl, and it worked without rewriting anything. I just updated the offsets, and file sizes per conventional methods and it's golden.

I also tried using the old extractor on the .tmcl's which I'm guessing has already been tried, but hey just in case. XD That one freezes up as well.

You do not have the required permissions to view the files attached to this post.

Long time didn't ripped something from doa, and the ultimate one seems to have some pretty outfit (pantsu where are you ?).

I will look at this one soon.

DoA3 skin pack for Dead or Alive Online(PC) (version 0.9a)

This pack includes all the outfits from "Dead or Alive 3", converted to work in "Dead or Alive Online". In the new version many small fixes where done, and was converted the morphing animation - so now the skins can move the fingers/eyeleads/mouth/boobs. (read "read or die.txt" for more information)

the python script for converting is also included, but be carefully with using these costumes in doa2u, some cat files exceed the maximum size and will hang the game.
also in this "DLC" you'll find the latest loader for doao, that improves the support for the "DOAX -> DOAO" costumes, and makes possible to play them online(only offline play were available for them till now).

Neither of the scripts work on it.

The key is 4 bytes long for that one so the first letter rule is not always true as the poster said on that forum.
Just change the first letter to B and it will extract fine.

It uses the first script.
change
findloc START string "\x00\x00"
math START - END

into

findloc START string "\x00\x00"
set START 0x3E
math START - END

Thanks, got it, this didn't work even with the first script changed:

BQ161R1@131B@S1]]2J372K42E1QRE1100N10{S65131H
BU8K3@1S100@D10D1]IB12]H1K1GB5I1QE16B6GN006A2219{PQ1L

This wasn't uncompresed correctly:

BT0K2@1S100@DI212]J00A12]D9362QB16G1EN000K011D{PQ18

I mean, I got a .dec file using the first script and also the corrected one and it doesn't work. Even in HXD there's nothing to see.
