You can unpack only XMLCache. Other bins not supported. This is all that I can do.

Has anyone tried to run the game unpacked?

I'm aware not all filenames are known at this point, but I was thinking maybe those known might work.
So I extracted the vehicles archive, placed the resulting folders (Vehicles and Vehicles_New) in \SleepingDogs\Data\ and then I deleted vehicles.bix and vehicles.bin.

The game starts and most cars seem to work, but some don't and the game crashes when it attempts to load them.
Could there be a problem with filenames or maybe decompression on some files?
Please post any requests or issues with my tools in the appropriate topics.
I'm sorry if I don't reply or if I ignore PMs. My time is very limited.

Not going to release what you have so far?
Maybe even source, so someone else can continue with it?

Sorry for the dig, but is there any chance you're still interested in this?
ZerOHearth wrote:Any chance to repack files?
Repacking isn't necessary, simply extract the files to ".../SleepingDogs/Data/" and if the game can't find the BIG file then it'll load those instead. HUGE thanks to Chipicao for figuring that out.
However, the game crashes instantly with all of them except for CharactersHD and Animation since the unpacker doesn't assign names to vital files. If Ekey updates those unknown files then we could create mods for normal characters too!

Also, Howfie already created a texture extractor a long time ago. It's a standalone .exe though, maybe you could incorporate his code into your program to make the process more streamlined.

EDIT: Reading over this thread, it saddens me to see how much support there was for this earlier, and now absolutely nobody cares.
