Re: Forza Motorsport Resource Extraction (.carbin)
Their line was busy ) I'm gonna wait for Ernegien instead. I just wanna know if it's Turn10 laziness or not before I start manual mapping.
Please post any requests or issues with my tools in the appropriate topics.

Re: Forza Motorsport Resource Extraction (.carbin)
Hello:)
Got a question:
Has anybody of you textured a whole S-Lod Car ( Autovista Model ) ?
If yes:
What are the textures , that you can texture complete interior?
There are Interior1.xds and Interior2.xds but what else?
Would be great if some one can explain that.

Yes.
For most interior and boot objects you have the interior2 texture. interior(1) is usually applied to gauges and badges (button markings).
Some interior parts use stitching, cloth, mottled or headliner textures. You'll easily identify these by their material name. If your model uses the former 3, you'll have to tile or resize the mapping.

Re: Forza Motorsport Resource Extraction (.carbin)
Hi
thank you for your answer:)
I tried to texture the 599 GTO interior but i got problems with the inner door. I can't find the right texture... it's always very bright .. or it's very dark. It doesnt fit with the stitching texture.
I'll post a screen soon.

Re: Forza Motorsport Resource Extraction (.carbin)
Here is now the little Screen of the interior.
#1 What texture is the right texture for this? i mean this part where the air is coming out from the air condition.
#2 Is this the right texture?
#3 Where do i find the Manettino Texture?
Would be nice if someone responds on that:)
Edit: Other question.
Is it possible to get the model and textures from the showrooms of Forza like the Top Gear Studio or the other ones?

Hmmm this is not tutorial topic!! Try to find it out by your own! Look on the UV and then try to find texture. My god... is this so hard???

Re: Forza Motorsport Resource Extraction (.carbin)
Most FM textures are dark, but they look better in-game thanks to normal maps and shader settings. You will have to tweak materials yourself to get the desired look in renders.
1. That looks right, considering the above
2. Check youtube for Autovista clips, it's the only way to be sure
3. The Manettino has a digital_gauge material, which as far as I can tell doesn't use conventional mapping; you will have to create a (black) texture) yourself.
Regarding the stitching, you must enable transparency to get the right look.

Re: Forza Motorsport Resource Extraction (.carbin)
Hi there
Sorry to bother people here again but I have a quick question.
I'm trying to find the sounds for a specific car but I cannot immediately spot them among the .fsb files as the file names don't appear to apply to the particular car I'm extracting, so how do I find out exactly what sound files it uses if I cannot tell by the .fsb file names - is there a file somewhere, like game.db, which tells the game what .fsb file to use for a particular car and if so can we look in that file (and obviously what is that file called)?
I've looked in game.db but can't find any references to the audio files used by any of the cars.
Many thanks.

Hi, Ernegien. Been awhile.. Any news about the tracks and their textures?
To bad they empty'ed the first page, but i've been checking your page and still hoping for something new!
Some coders should help you to make this tool all-in-one Forza thing..
PS: Soon there is also new game of Forza Horizon coming, i hope this one is going to be also useable!

Re: Forza Motorsport Resource Extraction (.carbin)
Hi everyone
I have a question. I'm trying to open the content of a DLC, there is a big file with no extension, how can I see the content? The same happened with the 2nd DVD of Forza 4, I extracted the content with "exiso" but after that I have few files of 800MB each that they have no extension. Any ideas how to open them?
Thanks in advance.

Re: Forza Motorsport Resource Extraction (.carbin)
Hey all:)
Is it possible to import the "Render Scenes or Photo Scenes" of Forza 4 into 3dsmax and texture them completely?
I am talking about the scenes like the country road where you can take a picture of your car or the Top Gear Studio.
