You're absolutely right. I just tried it with Potplayer and it works flawlessly. Does Potplayer have any specific codecs for those files, I mean if I want to convert them which codecs will decode correctly? Thanks.
Well, those that I'm meddling with (Deus ex 3 ones) were created with TMPEnc, so your best bet would be to use this encoder. Last time I checked it supported loading a plethora of formats. Since the files in question use merely the MPEg1-format, chances are that you won't need any other decoders. That's just an educated guess though. In a worse case scenario you could try to load Potplayer's decoder in an avisynth script and frameserve the file to the encoder of your choice.

pc version just got ee update, rick are you gonna start working on this game again? i notice you have w2resource reader, but it doesn't work with most of the crucial files.
