He could be lying, so it could be an FM3 model.kas87 wrote:I see this guy have the subaru impreza from F4 correctly mapped

Or he mapped the model on his own.
Re: Forza Motorsport Resource Extraction (.carbin)
Since theres no updates, people started mapping on their own and it seems that some of the works are pretty successful.
Btw. Theres no Impreza Sedan in FM3

Mapping is not a problem , i would just like the discs and calipers.
@bigBear, do you mind me using your textures? A mate sent me a link to them.

Re: Forza Motorsport Resource Extraction (.carbin)
It's simple to map a car on your own, but we still need to be able to import of the rest of the carbin files to make use of lod1-5 meshes, brakes, discs and so on...
That impreza is not correctly mapped at all very poor job

Re: Forza Motorsport Resource Extraction (.carbin)
Yeah, mapping is not a problem.
However, mapping the Autovista models are a pain the ass.
I mean, the entire engine in the game looks like plain materials with reflections on them.
But the cables are mapped different, especially the Reventon one.
Too bad the video's on Youtube doesn't show the entire engine properly.
Other than the engines are fine to map.
Sure, you can use my textures.
I see they look really nice on your interior mod

@bigbear, thanks mate
And yes mapping the engine is not the easiest thing to map, but with 3ds max 2012 it takes no time at all.
I am mapping the F50 autovista model atm. I will post some pics when i have done it.

Re: Forza Motorsport Resource Extraction (.carbin)
For some reason the Autovista models are easy to remap.
Tho' they needs some edits like the mapping of the interior leather.
But the interior buttons looks like they have the correct mapping.
Don't know if that's the same for non-Autovista models.
And on the engine, it looks like the mapping has been switched to other objects.
I saw on the video, on sticker at the engine bay has the right mapping.
But when imported and applied that texture, the other sticker got that mapping from other sticker
that doesn't belong there.
It shouldn't be there.
But Turn10 can't map for shit.
The whole engine is plain materials with reflections on it, nothing else.
But ow well, you know how it is.
(last sentence is GTA V quote lol)
