Rick - I had a small request...

Could you make it so that if you set DRM files to open with the DRM Editor, it actually opens the DRM, instead of just opening DRMEdit and waiting for you to select a file?

That would be brilliant :-)

Unpack it into the DXHR game directory - it should unpack into the root directly, you don't want it sitting in it's own subfolder.
Once it's unpacked, you just run "unpack.bat" and it does the rest.
Make sure to change the drive letter that the batch file outputs to - it's presently set to unpack everything to D:\DXHR_Unpack\ - if you don't have a D:\ drive, that might be a problem :-)

hey satan claus, what up? i sure wouldnt want any holiday gifts from you, anyways look back a few posts at one of my posts, just copy the bigfile without numbers and in one of the copies (the one in the game directory you choose to keep and edit) simply edit with a hex editor, press ctrl-f and type in augment or augmentation or the specific augmentation you wish to edit, play around with the numbers, and if something gets messed up simply copy down the values changed beforehand to return the old values or simply look at the copied bigfile or copy and paste it. anywho, all you have to do is copy AND LEAVE OPEN THE HEX EDITOR SO IT IS FAST WITH THIS METHOD and keep opening the game and changing values until you find your desired change, i have written down a few like damage reduction and fortify hack... gluck

Hey guys. Please forgive my noobyness but I was wondering if any one had gotten any of the character models out of the game. I would realy like to import some of the characters into 3dsmax so that I can studie them in detail. I am a complete noob and havnt got a clue how to do this and I'm hoping that some one on here might be kind enough to help me out. I understand that the process may be to hard to explain to someone with no prior knowlage in this matter. If this is the case then could somebody point me in the direction of some tutorials or even set up a torrent of the models if they have already been extracted. Thanks in advance for any help.

Well i read your post already. its strange but i cant find any traces of fortify or another aug names inside bigfile. Would you kindly provide hex offset for that "fortify" you already find and try to edit?

I need somebody who can explain me with what i can unpack the text files (menu, subtitles - all text files) and the textures.

Me and my translation team left the other games in the background and now we want to focus on this game. So, can anyone explain me how i can unpack the text files from the .000 archives and how to repack it again so the game can read the text normally.

And my second question is: Where are the font files?

That's because he's not providing a downloadable copy. If you want a copy, then you have to either wait for one of us to post an updated copy of the binaries, or you have to compile a copy from the latest version of his SVN.

I personally recommend compiling your own copy - there's instructions on how to do so a few pages back. Just look for the instructions that call for the use of SlikSVN - that's the method that I use and it works pretty well.

For those that can't handle compiling their own copy, here's a gimmie for today - rev38 all bundled up, with my unpacker batch file - remember to change the %output% variable if you don't want to use D:\DXHR_Unpack\

Finally set up an automated build system,

Note that these are compiled with Mono but they should work under MS's .NET. If you have an issue with an automated build please let me know the revision and build number that you downloaded.

I downloaded the tools and unpacked bigfile_English.000 but there are only .mul files and audio files.

I think that there are the text files, voices.. because when i delete bigfile_English.000 and leave bigfile_Russian.000, everything in the game is in Russian.

That's why i think that in this archive is everything (Voices, text files, textures...).

Can anyone confirm that .drm files can still be unpacked/decompressed/repacked into patch file after yesterday's update?
