I use Mario & Chrrox maxscript and I have alot excess edge
All dff I import by a script alway have unnecessary edge
How to i fix it without del these edge?
Since I don't have 3DS max, can you export Kikyo model into OBJ with UVs and stuff for me please? :keke:
As far as I can see those triangles are not "unnecessary" but have some misplaced vertexes due to incomplete chain reading algorithm in importer script. That's very hard to fix manually IMHO.

in max just add an optimize modifier to the mesh it will remove those un used edges.

I already said in this thread I have no interest in the dff format. that is why i dint post the script in the first place.
The only reason i made the script was to help mario kart out in learning how to do scripts.
so if the dff script does not work on a certain game there is not much i can do to help.

Oh i see. But how do i remove those edges in 3dsmax? The optimize modifier does not work, the vertex weld does but ruins some parts of the mesh.

hello, i am rather new and starting how to 3d model.

i've been modding homeworld 2 for about 3 years now, and it introduced me to 3d models.

and for a while i made rather mediocre models. well, i want the inuyasha models so i can import them into Super Smash Bros. Brawl.

it's a rather frivilous request. but i wantto learn how to Bone Rig, and as well make appropriate UV maps. as well as seperate polygon

this is one of my rather mediocre models, lacking UV maps and rigging.

and if someone doesn't mind giving me the fixed Inuyasha models. its sorta the only reason why i'm here, but i might stay to learn how to make appropriate models and better skill.
