EDIT: F08BB2F77E4524F7.bin is the file, but I'm not sure if it's what I thought it was. It was logged as euro/bnk/database/aiconfig.cpr but it contains data for braking, turning, acceleration and probably top speed. Each car has its own ID in numeric format. I'm attaching the list, can't post it because it's too big.
though i'm not happy with the result, just setting data for braking turning and acceleration is not what we are looking for, so i guess this is just the max values that you can give the AI to drive their own cars, depending on which care they're driving. so definitely this is not the physics of the cars we drive! i've no idea where they're hidden... maybe part of the exe?

chipicao and qwerty, i've been working all day today on the rest of the files, but there are about 85 ig2 mission files i haven't got in my logs. do you have all the missions completed so i can add them too? without these i'm down to 248 files left!!

all the latest files i've worked on are checked with the hash generator and are correct and exist as bin files so... i guess we're close to having them all! :D

Like I said I finished everything in Ibiza. Sorry I forgot to post the filelist in my previous post, but I'm attaching my latest log now.
I also finished every random character event in Hawaii, C3 and C3 high championships, found all treasure hunt cars and most photographs. That just leaves B3, A5,4,3,2,1 championships and the final cup event.

Has anyone looked at the file db_data.cpr?
It is updated in every patch, and it seems to contain all the names of bnk files.

The problem is that even after you decrypt it with tdudec, you still can't read it properly because it's one of those XMBF formats.
Please post any requests or issues with my tools in the appropriate topics.

Hello everyone

1. lucky you qwerty, i've been working all day today for the cleanest list i could do!
so here it is, all i got, it also includes all a7 a6 a5 a4 a3 a2 a1 championships and some others that chipicao missed. unfortunately i could only get 7 extra ig2 files from the whole list i got from chipicao, but anyway! here is the latest list i have, each line is
unique
hash generated by filename
generated hash checked that it really exists in the bin files
sorted according to filename
file contains 8837 entries, so 9151-8837 = 314 files left for me
i had to remove some of the lines that stated filenames that didn't exist as bin, if you want to double check, i've included them too as missing.log :)

2. yes these tiny files that contain a lot of crap and no info, i don't know what we're gonna do about them, thank god they're not too many!

3. qwerty, mind if i post the prog i made to check the filenames? it will have to include your dll...

Edit: my filelist already contains those filenames from you, i'd found them too 2 days ago, i believe the same way you did? looking into the files with a hex editor for some paths hehe

here is the list with the filenames that passed all tests

not many, but it's still a good start. can u send me your latest log so i can see how many more i can add? i was down to 280 but lost some of my files, i hope they're in your logs :D

yes it DOES contain all filenames and all frontend screens data,
i'm also finally sure that THIS file contains the car physics!! you can see stuff like gear ratios, slip angles, lateral friction percentages and stuff,
the one who makes an XMBF editor will be the star of TDU2! hehe

actually i don't think there is a xbmf editor.... but an extractor maybe? there have to be thousands of files in there with their own structure too! the XMBF exists in those .map files and resembles their format, maybe with a little modification to the script that extracts the big files we'll be able to get those too?
can you give it a shot qwerty? i wish i knew how to script bms but i'm completely new and will have to start from the beginning :D

filelist_clean_2.zip
these files are from the first game patch (TDU2v082.map). patch is one for all language versions of the game, so it contains some extra files. i unpacked all 8 map+big from game folder - 5 original and 3 patches, so these files exist for me and was sorted. you can delete these filenames if you want, or save them in separate file.
