Ok, sorry. I thought that too, but I looked thru a few pages, it only occurs in his posts...
update:
Lol, just after posting this I have it too, must be a stupid coincidence then Sorry Hello?

Yeah, that makes sense. Most MapleStory versions do have a less-than-adequate exp-hp ratio for monsters (JMS and I don't know what else is 1.25 the exp, though, so it's slightly better). The only problem comes with hacking the server to get the data. While I'd support every effort to legitimately get a private server running, I'm not going to support illegal activities, such as hacking the server (for obvious reasons).

I don't think you'd have to hack the server (and of cource I can't condone it eather), as long as you know what you need (e.g. what content the client expects from the server), you could write your own content, but it would probably take months if your lucky, and years - which is more likely - if you'd have to do it alone.
i still think your over with 'years" i am sure it aint that hard but too bad Ms "Xp" is way too hard to level up and it would be cool to make a server with normal Xp and play with friends.

The problem is with the legality of private servers. Private servers are illegal to run. (But apparently that does not stop a few hundred RO private servers springing up.)
Note: I am not your tech support. This product comes AS IS with all faults.
Hey guys, it's Fiel from Sleepywood.net
I know you guys like Lambda's extractor. I have taken his extractor and made it better. It now has the following features:
1. Improved version of the directory tree - it's much simpler to navigate
2. Can now search for changed images and index.html files via fast error checking
3. Creates an "Updated" folder that contains all of the changed information from your most recent extraction to your current extraction
4. The first extraction will take several hours, however subsequent extractions are done in less than 25% of the time! On my machine, a subsequent extraction takes only 4 minutes on Character.wz.
5. The ability to dump multiple WZ files in the same extraction. You don't have to edit the extractor every time you want to extract a new WZ file.
6. This extractor will work on all versions of Maplestory except for KMS and KMST.
Unfortunately, the extractor still has a problem working with sub-blocks in the Map.WZ. I suggest you avoid it altogether until I figure out the solution.

ZIP file contains:
- Newest (at this time in writing) Python version
- My version of Lambda's extractor
- Maplestory.base (used for making pre-patchers)
- Patchermain (used for making pre-patchers, thanks TEXEL)
- And a file called "dump.txt" which should get you up and running with the new features and programs.
(NOTE: That "under 4 minutes for Character.wz" was done on an Athlon 64 4400+ @ 2.6GHz and 2 GB RAM on Windows XP)

I haven't looked through the code, but impressive work all the same. Some interesting mods to the code, and a good package with the most useful programs.
