Re: Asphalt 9: Legends Jtex|Jmox Convertor(A9Tool)
OK so here's the thing: was attempting to check how textures correspond to the models in previous versions of the game where files still got their proper names. The only versions I managed to find were the China versions. Yet there doesn't seem to be any material files so just another dead end.
However I did managed to find a manifest file in certain newer versions storing the info to map the hash sequences to their actual names. Checked a few files from different versions (including the Worldwide version) and seems the hash sequence of the same file is constant. So there is a possibility to make use of this manifest file to restore the majority of the filenames (14.5k or so). Let me know if there's still a demand.

Re: Asphalt 9: Legends Jtex|Jmox Convertor(A9Tool)
Yes. Of course. That would be awesome. As now is a real pain to find correct textures.
And even worst probably they Changed texture format in the Newer version so they cannot be converted correctly anymore.

Yeah , definitely finding textures is a pain atm. I have to sort them by size and check hundreds of textures manually just to get one useful texture.
That would be really helpful

Would really like it, but sharing the manifest file alone is great on its own cant find it on mineBigchillghost wrote: ↑Thu Jan 06, 2022 3:12 pm OK so here's the thing: was attempting to check how textures correspond to the models in previous versions of the game where files still got their proper names. Re: Asphalt 9: Legends Jtex|Jmox Convertor(A9Tool)
I'm tired of emphasizing this over and over: do NOT quote at length the entire post in your reply! You're obligated to keep your posts organized & clean and not ruin the mood of those who have been pursuing to do so.
Now as for your concerns, the unencrypted manifest file existed only in v2.1.0 & v2.2.0 among the China versions (for those I had checked). And I managed to dump the manifest of v2.9.0 through the memory. By removing the duplicate names and comparing the files on the disk, all the hashes match with those in the manifest and there're only 2 files that do not own the corresponding record. And one of the file's size is very close to the manifest file I dumped from the memory, except the data appear to be encrypted. The manifest string fragments can be found in memory even if the game has not been connected to the internet, which means the file must be stored along with the game data. Unfortunately my attempts to dump the manifest of v3.2.2a of the Worldwide version, and to locate the decryption method in the game lib, both failed. The manifest of v2.9.0 (China version) includes 17112 entries and they should cover most of the files of the Worldwide version. That should be sufficient for now.
The file you're looking for should be 397F9F319A55E791. But the data appeared to be encrypted so obviously they don't like someone to mess with their game settings.
Yeah yeah, I know most of you don't have the chance to find it on your own. I should probably create another topic later, for the renaming tool and maintenance of the converted manifest files.
May you find peace in this puzzle-solving game.

You need to edit your previous posts and remove the embed quote and the long context. I'm very serious.

Re: Asphalt 9: Legends Jtex|Jmox Convertor(A9Tool)
Please, will anyone be kind enought to provide me with a copy of the game files from a ios device, since the latest .obb files on android do not have any logical names, they are some random combinations of letters and numbers. Thanks in advice!
Or if someone can share already renamed files, that would be awesome!

I did read those, but I'm new to this stuff and i have no clue how to do the renaming thing. Can someone make a more in-depth guide, like for someone who is new to all this. Or someone just upload a copy of the renamed files, or send a copy of the renamed files to my email: [email protected]TomWin wrote: ↑Mon Jan 31, 2022 2:43 pm you should read previous posts. Install newest python
Put all files in one folder (game+tool)
run restoreFileHierarchy.py
That's it
I would like to ask how to convert textures from A9 v3.2.2?
I have following error.
