check if you have other plugins that try to read bin files and remove them

I used a clean version of Noesis to test the plugin.

It should just work. Which one are you trying to open?

Within Noesis there are a bunch of built-in bin readers such as Bujingai or EB-Binary, sorry if this is an amateur question, but as i've searched/looked up Google and then systematically delete all the seemingly irrelevant plugins that came with a clean download of Noesis, how do you "remove" those plugins that's also trying to read the bin file for this to work

Thank you, again sorry if it's an amateur question :)

They barely made it possible to unpack models with weights and barely because not all is extracted right. Including UV Map.

So how it will be able to unpack animations?

Of course it cannot.

The engine itself is the same as Diva and VF5, and the model standards are similar, but bone_data, mot_db, etc. do not exist, and the animation type is completely different.

I remember they mentioned that on old posts, but for the lack of interest... I guess what we can get now is all we will get.

I uploaded the useful folder to mega so those who come later don't need to download the whole game. Most of the models are inside "objset" folder (the character models are "obj_svt...")
(removed)

One question: Is there a workaround to unpack zstd compression without installing zstd? Mine required installing zstd using "pip install zstd", but it says I need to install Microsoft Visual C++ 14, which I don't intend to do because I'm using portable python.

The UV is something others model have, not just on the head.

I didn't need to install it. Just following how they explained it

I think I found the solution to your problem
(error that I also had)(a stupid question with a stupid answer)
the fmt_FGOA_bin script
should be put in the \plugins\python folder
if you put it in \plugins it won't let you open the .bin
(Considering we are talking about the .bin that you extracted from the farc with quickbms)

-a clean installation of noesis will not bring you any problem with the script

How do I extract the texture from the tex.bin? I was able to check the model with noesis and export it as obj.

the script guy said:

Update 2: Added a script to convert txp to dds (based on the chrrox script for the first mips). All the "ramps" and other small textures with strange names are BC7 (32x32) textures, which are not compatible with the current script due to a different layout, but you can convert them with rawtex. Formats currently supported by the game: BC1 (DXT1), BC3 (DXT5), BC4 (ATI1) and BC5 (ATI2). For BC7, see above.

so to extract the textures you have to use Rawtex (Raw texture previewer)
