Re: Noesis g1m/g1t importer with animations (FETH, Dissidia, DOA6, FEW, HW...)
From Fairy Tail
Is this cloth driver and bones are at wrong position compare to her dress, or this is normal?

Hard to say with just a screenshot, I don't have the game myself and I'm not familiar with the series.
I'd say it's correct, they'd just simulate the bottom of the dress. If the dress is split in two submeshes (upper and lower) that's probably the case

Np, glad you like it.
There are a LOT of them from what I've been told by different users so I'd need to make some research and cross reference all the different posts I saw to make an exhaustive list.
Out of my head :
-Dissidia NT
-Dissidia Opera Omnia
-Fire Emblem Three Houses
-Many Atelier games
-Fire Emblem Warriors
-Hyrule Warriors
-Dead or Alive 6
-Persona 5 Scramble
-Fairy Tale RPG
-Marvel Ultimate Alliance 3
-Berserk
-One Piece Pirate Warriors 3
-One Piece Pirate Warriors 4
-Dragon Quest Builders 2
-Dragon Quest Heroes
-Dragon Quest Heroes 2
-Nioh
-Nioh 2
-Toukiden
-Toukiden II
-Dynasty Warriors 7
-Dynasty Warriors 8
-Dynasty Warriors 9
-Warriors All Stars
-Warriors Orochi 4
-Fatal Frame (WiiU)
-BladeStorm Nightmare
-Deception IV Blood Ties
-Fist of the North Star 2
-Samurai Warriors 4-II
-Warriors Legend of Troy
-Dynasty Warriors Online
-Nobunaga Online
-Attack of Titan 2
-Night of Azure 2
-Ar noSurge
There are probably more that I forgot, basically pretty much any Koei Tecmo game that uses that g1m format should work with the plugin. Big thanks to Allanoon and einherjar007 for all the testing

If it uses g1m probably. I don't have the game so I can't tell.
Re: Noesis g1m/g1t importer with animations (FETH, Dissidia, DOA6, FEW, HW...)
A bit of a technical question: i'm examining some g1t files from Final Fantasy Dissidia Opera Omnia and they are composed of multiple images with different sizes.
While a few of them are packs of character textures (kinda reminds me of UDIMs), others seem like packs of random stuff
They aren't an animation and there's no way to fit them neatly in a power of 2 square without losing a lot of space. Also while some of them look like a flat texture for a background prop, others are decorative images for the UI
What were these files meant to be? why would they pack it in this way rather than by what each component uses?

I didn't play/datamine that game, could you send me a sample of what you're talking about ? A friend of mine will take a look.dukemagus wrote: ↑Sun Aug 30, 2020 4:22 am A bit of a technical question: i'm examining some g1t files from Final Fantasy Dissidia Opera Omnia and they are composed of multiple images with different sizes.

Does anyone know if Nioh 2's files are available publicly anywhere yet? If they are private only that's fine, I just wanted to make sure.
Cheers

If he does, you could try to look at the characters, weapon and monsters textures, because the old tool that exist for that format of texture, usually unpack them without alpha.

I don't think so
You mean that the script has a wrong output ? Or are there texture files that are not g1t files that are not extracted correctly by an existing tool ?Darkhowlings wrote: ↑Sun Aug 30, 2020 9:52 pmIf he does, you could try to look at the characters, weapon and monsters textures, because the old tool that exist for that format of texture, usually unpack them without alpha.
I did a few tests on the g1t textures of DFOO a while ago and it looked ok to me at that time

No. The old tool does the job and unpack all the textures without problem. But, when it comes to Characters, Weapon and Monster textures, it unpack them as PNG, but without Alpha, so they don't have any transparency.

You are right, I looked at a few samples and there was some weird stuff going on. Yretenai pushed some fixes, try to download the latest version of the script and let us know if you find any issues.Darkhowlings wrote: ↑Mon Aug 31, 2020 5:34 amNo. The old tool does the job and unpack all the textures without problem.
