Cabela's 4x4 Off-Road Adventure 3 [.model / .skin]

Post by Fengo »

I was wondering if anyone has figured this one out yet, I've got a zip for 'Car1' which was extracted from the games ARC file. Linked below is the zip file, I was wondering if anyone smarter than me would be able to make a MaxScript or something similar to import the model. The textures are just TGA files, and freely visible in the zip as well.

Writing scripts is a time consuming task - I prefer showing how to get the first submesh (using hex2obj, view link in my sig):
.
CAR1_0-SKIN.png
(ok, more than one now :D )
uv pos= 20 or 24 so far. Interior rotated in 2 axes, strange.

I have finished my Cabela’s 4X4 Off-Road Adventure 3 *.skin loader module and I have released the following programs as web updates:

- 3D Object Converter v7.027 (Windows)
- i3DConverter v3.704 (macOS)

How to get the 3D Object Converter v7.027:
Download the 3D Object Converter from http://3doc.i3dconverter.com and install it or download and use the portable version.
After it just use the Help/Check for updates... function to get the v7.027.

How to get the i3DConverter v3.704 macOS:
Download the i3DConverter from http://www.i3dconverter.com and install it.
After it just use the Help/Check for updates... function to get the v3.704.

How to get the i3DConverter v1.704 Linux:
