I appreciate you trying. They don't seem to be up to date, with all due respect. There are still several Forza Horizon 3 cars that are missing and the site seems to update very slowly.
I am greatful they update at all. Anyways I appreciate you trying all the same. Enjoy Paris.

Modelbin Collector 1.0.4 - FM7 Support BETA

Hello there!
After release of FM7 we have been working on Modelbin Collector update since the old one will not work in most cases.

1.0.4 FEATURES

• Added partial support for Forza Motorsport 7 UNENCRYPTED/DUMPED car archives. (see guide below)
• Reworked library lookup mechanism
• Library Manager - allows you to manage your library archives.

Image

Quick guide for FH3:
Well, nothing actually changed when it comes to library setup.
1.) Open MTC
2.) File -> Library Setup...
3.) Add archives from (...\media\cars\_library) [except _pri_44]
4.) Close dialog
5.) Collect FH3/FM6 archives

Quick guide for FM7:
1.) Download unencrypted and repacked Forza 7 Library if you don't have your own. (Links -> Download -> Forza 7 Library Collection)
2.) Extract
3.) Add archives from downloaded library to Library Manager (File -> Library Setup...)
4.) Unpack FM7 car archive using quickBMS
5.) Pack back again to ZIP
6.) Collect FM7 Archives

WARNING Do not load both libraries at once (FH3/FM7), it may heavily slow down collection process.

BTW, does anyone found a way to access original ZIP archives? All we got is this:

Code: Select all

invalid CEN header (unsupported compression method: 21)

Guys, welcome! Tell me, please, and the interior textures in the car all stand exactly? I took the Bentley Bantyaga model for conversion to GtaV, opened it in 3dsimed, and there are not half the textures of the interior, i.e. The texture of the cabin I found it is 512x512 but its coordinates on the model are flown and do not appear correctly. For example, the wood matrix in the model and the steering wheel also without a badge and buttons ... Help, please, how to eliminate this flaw?

Thank you!!!

@Pupsik - The texture you have talking about is used for lower LODs than you are trying.
Here is list of texture maps used by "seat" of Bentley Bentayga for the LOD0/SLOD model you are using:

I think the answer is inside of zip.bms script code ;)

Well, the script actually tells nothing to me (being Java programmer) as some features may be implemented inside quickBMS application.

For me, not a programmer, it's contain a link to zip specification.
And output log shows some offsets at extract stage which can be examined for better understanding.

Original Forza Studio 4 can read those zips directly (IIRC), so you can find some code in released sources too.
