Alright, thanks anyways. Maybe when you have some time you could fix us a basic script, if it is not asking much.

Iv'e also made a script for dead space 2-3 long ago. Everything's working except the skinning. I never could figure it out but its better than starting from scratch.

I got some trouble with DS2, 0059_mesh_body_dism.geo 'til I realized that it seems to require 0060_mesh_body_dism.geo
(which I don't have) which contains the uvs as external data, right?

and the UV files for each mesh file are in the "MeshVolatile" folder
the headerless texture files are in the "tg4d" folder
and the header files for each texture file is in the "tg4h" folder
