So ninjaripper does: "Extracting all available vertex information of the models (position"

I'm trying to rip some models from Transformers:Devastation and the ripper works, no problems with it.

But it rips the transformer model in its "zero" position (standing straight, arms to the sides). the scenery is also misplaced: it rips every model, but not in the right places.

I want to rip the model in a particular action, much like dxripper used to do: I make the character do something and capture just the right moment.

I am doing something wrong or it is just the way ninjaripper works?

Win7 64bits (info FYI, not sure if it matters)

Thanks!

I've been experimenting with Dark Souls and Ninja Ripper and found that it crashes when run on Linux under Wine. This happens because of this call, which is still there in the current version. I could not find any documentation that suggests that it is OK to pass NULL to SetGammaRamp as the ramp parameter, so I hesitate to call this a bug in Wine. Replacing this call with NOPs makes it work just fine.

Also, it seems that the ripper checks only 8 texture slots, when actually there are 16 or so. Judging by the shader code, Dark Souls actually puts a texture in slot 15 of some objects for some reason. It's probably just a light map or something similar though.

On the positive side, since I couldn't find a good blender importer for .rip files, I made a new script, and with the right parameters it seems to handle Dark Souls data correctly.

Edit: Here are the script settings for Dark Souls in case somebody is interested. For 'filter by shader inputs' to work you need to enable ripping "Shaders (for experts)" and import the files from the _NinjaRipper folder.

Sir i have a problem with Ninja Ripper.
Two days ago, i've started ripping stuff from MGS V and MGO, some of it have been ripped and cleaned relatevly successfully, but today i've stumbled with problem, that game will not launch with ripper involved. I think today's steam update involved. Ripper haven't worked for many people but because of some odds, it worked for me until today.
Please help me out with this, many people need this to be working.

edit:
here's a link on facepunch with some details of problem
