The PIG format has been updated with lz4 compression. My MAXScript only works with old game versions.

I've started a standalone tool to export models to FBX, but development is on hold. I'll post here when I have something ready.

I've released the Dunia 2 script I was working on a few months ago. Works with Far Cry 3, FC4 and The Crew.

It's still incomplete as it doesn't import materials or textures, but everything else works fine, including LODs, submeshes, normals, mesh and UV scaling, hierarchy.

Cool. I looked at the new mcr file and it's certainly an update! 【•】_【•】
Looks like mine has a ways to go still. :bleh:

BTW, do you know if there has been any update to the extraction tools?
Without filenames, finding the textures is a real pain.
The models are easy enough to find using grepWin, but of course the xbt files have nothing to search with.
( no strings attached :D )

Also, I haven't found anything that reads DX10 DDS files. :constipated:

Well Far Cry 3 has a pretty good file list, as I'm sure you know.
Don't know anything about FC4.

No updates for the Crew unfortunately. Ekey has been of great help with his extractor, but he wasn't able to get too far due to the protection used in the beta.
For now he doesn't have access to the final game, but if anyone can help with a key, you know where to find him.

As for textures, I was able to read them without issues using the nVidia plugin for Photoshop.

Decided to try this one for FC3 till Dude is done with Maya, I have no Max 2010, using 2012 instead, I managed to get the model imported and the skeleton but...there are no weights?

Sorry, there aren't any. I am not experienced in working with weights, skeletons and maxscript, nor am I interested at the time.

Hi, I have a problem with max scripts, I drag and drop the script for the crew in but nothing happen. I have autodesk 3d max 2015. Some one can help me pls?
