Well duked around witht he crossfire models once more and it seems that the majority actually do convert just fine with LTB2X.
Was just confused since all the models I wanted to get, didn't work.
So I recommend folks to try that.

I'm curious, does anyone have an updated version of the script that also supports MTG: Tactics PSSG files. Sadly the one here doesn't do it. It seems the PSSG files though are analogous though. Seems to contain textures will most likely be very similar to the ones in other games. Did the test on 3ds...

Look for Gobread here. It's somewhere in the applications. It supports Jericho without a hitch as far as I remember

It depends on the application itself. For instance reversing the code to be able to read and load the models is not illegal in any sense of way. There's a somewhat older version with an isntaller still available that can be extract with UMODEL. 59 or something. Doubt they added a lot more content beyond what was there.

As far as I recall you had to pitch models trough one prog - I'm sure to have it somewhere and then you can use the lTA or LTB importer. The only thing you have to do is rotate the bones themselves, but they are there. The lack of UVW maps is proving a bit of a hassle though. Been unwrapping one of ...

Yeah I've duked around this for a while as well and I think it's due to most of the korean lithtech FPS games using a somewhat different format for their characters compared to the models that can be found in nolf tron and AVP. To be honest evrything I can see should be easily fixed by applying the same weight to the hand mesh under the shoulder or actually deleting the hand mesh under the shoulder. Considering it will never be visible, there's absolutely no need for it to be there.

@op you seem to want to use them in gmod. For that matter you don't need to actually convert them to anything. Just drop them into the gmod directory or addon. You have to hex edit the header with the file version. They are largely the same just need that change. After that everything can read them again.
