Re: Splinter Cell Double Agent STREAM.SS0
The stream.ss0 files can be extracted using Nova Software Extractor. But isn't it that the sound files for the multiplayer are in .ss0 format, not singleplayer? Singleplayer is in .ss2 which can't be extracted (so far), right? Thats where the sound is that I really want.

Breakdown .pak support
Can there please be some Breakdown *.pak support? Through working with the Xbox game "Breakdown" for a while, I've found that the .pak files that are littered throughout the game directories have the proper .pak header (BDPK), but are unrecognized as .pak formats. Maybe Namco came up with ...

Breakdown TIM2-format pictures?
I've found what looks like TIM2 images in the XBOX game "Breakdown", but no TIM2 viewer I've used yet opens them. They are all in a single directory, and all of their extensions are numbers, like "gallery.000" "gallery.001". There are 20 gallery.xxx files, and all of th...

For the freakin win.
Is there any work still being done on archive extraction? I know I've gotten off topic, and this thread shouldn't serve as my data log. Extracting and renaming things from the archive is a pain, can some support for the archive types be given?

I'll be sure to check it, sorry its taken a while. I need to re-extract the .xwb from the game, I've already deleted it off my computer because I extracted all the music. Still, it would have been awesome if I didn't have to go about renaming all the files myself. EDIT: Checked, yeah, the .xwb files...

*bump* Any progress? I've noticed now that mytempdir doesn't have a very long time that it keeps files on its server, so tell me if you need the files reuploaded via a different upload server or something. EDIT: Updated. Files have now been permanently moved to my Google account, so they won't be go...

Update, For Great Justice.
Because I love the game BREAKDOWN so much, I've decided to do two things: 1.) I have carefully sorted through all 224 music tracks that I've extracted from bgm.stw with Nova Software Extractor and found the soundtracks that can be officially accessed via the in-game audio player menu. I have listed ...

Area 51
Odd, WATTO Extractor says it supports Area 51's .dfs archives, yet it will not extract at all, even if I select to open the archive with the Area 51 plugin. Which brings me to my game request for MultiEx Commander. :P EDIT: THOUGH FIXING WATTO EXTRACTOR IS JUST AS GOOD. There are seven music/sound a...

I must disagree! :o a.) Because they're not being truly converted, as in being reencoded at all. The program is simply fixing their wave header information to be correctly read (no actual touching of the music data), and b.) That's far too easy. ( :D ) EDIT: It might be re-encoded, I'm unsure. But i...

Burnout 3 and Burnout Revenge XWB Support
_EaTrax0.xwb and _EaTrax1.xwb, found in the "Tracks" directory in the popular games Burnout 3 and Burnout Revenge contain all of the music used in the game, which is in .wma form, and encoded at 160Kbit/s, pretty high quality in terms of WMA. Normally, .xwb files come with a similarly name...
