Does anyone know where to find the spec map for The Boss' outfit? Darkening the bump map helps out a bit, but the shiny parts of the suit are still there.

Re: Metal Gear Solid 5 Ground Zeroes/Phantom Pain g0s archiv
If you want it to stay open you have to first open a console/command prompt (e.g. cmd.exe) and then execute the application in it. What would I put in the command prompt? The path to the tool on my system is: D:\Mods & Backups\Mods\Metal Gear Solid V Mods\Tools\FtexTool OK it's pretty obvious y...

Re: Metal Gear Solid 5 Ground Zeroes/Phantom Pain g0s archiv
Thanks. So what's the correct workflow? Drag ftex file onto ftex tool, edit dds, save as dxt1, drag back onto the tool, then place the ftex file where it needs to go? Pretty much, I will outline how I go through how I go about it though. -Extract .pftxs with gzstool -Extract Texture from ftex file ...

Re: Metal Gear Solid 5 Ground Zeroes/Phantom Pain g0s archiv
It sure is, made some edits to the MGS3 Fatigues the other night. You need to extract the .ftex and .1.ftexs in the DLC outfit PFTXS (check my post a few pages back for those) and get the .2.ftexs and .3.ftexs from 01.dat and it should extract fine. Do you know which files correspond to the Boss' s...

Re: Metal Gear Solid 5 Ground Zeroes/Phantom Pain g0s archiv
Is it possible to texture edit the DLC outfits yet? Using the Ftex tool (version 0.3.1) to convert the ftex files, but I just end up with stuff like this. Re: Metal Gear Solid 5 Ground Zeroes/Phantom Pain g0s archiv
Unsure which files specifically, but I'm fairly certain they're from the d8c75b2c66d4.pftxs file (for the Boss' uniform).atvaark wrote:Which file is that?Jax765 wrote:Is it possible to texture edit the DLC outfits yet? Re: Metal Gear Solid 5 Ground Zeroes/Phantom Pain g0s archiv
I downloaded the mod on nexus that lets you swap Venom's head with BB's but there's a little gap between his body and his neck where you can see through. Can anyone fix that? http://www.nexusmods.com/phantompain/mods/19/? Not to mention that little hole on his left eye. http://i.picpar.com/4K5b.png...

Re: Metal Gear Solid 5 Ground Zeroes/Phantom Pain g0s archiv
Regarding textures, are they packed within fpk files for most characters? Checked out the texture .dat files, and they seem to mostly consist of GZ character textures (e.g. Chico, Paz, MSF Big Boss, etc). Trying to make some edits to the Diamond Dog soldier fatigues, but I'm having difficulty findin...

Re: Metal Gear Solid 5 Ground Zeroes/Phantom Pain g0s archiv
Does anyone have a link to a tutorial for replacing Snake's character model in TPP?
Also, is it possible to replace, say, the headband option with Snake's head model from Ground Zeroes?
