I spent more time closing them than actually exporting something :P Keep going man!!! we are waiting forward to make ...

Re: Forza Motorsport Resource Extraction (.carbin)

There is a problem with the UVs, the coordinates are correct, but they are adapted to cover the full UV frame, you can clearly see that on the small strikers, all of them cover the full frame, there is any hope of fixing this in the future? That and the wrong scale on some objects are the only real ...

Re: Forza Motorsport Resource Extraction (.carbin)

I can imagine I need to scale them up, but I have no idea of how much, or if there is any standard scale for them I saw that they are over stretched on X axis (or Y or Z depending on the software) but doesn't look like is scaled up,...

Re: Forza Motorsport Resource Extraction (.carbin)

Things are going pretty well with the last JM, JM4 and 5 are O.K., i can do things like that: http://i.imgur.com/GnKt2CW.png or http://i.imgur.com/lOVcqcy.png Each model can take for me 30 mn to 2 hours to have something correct using Blender. At the end models are pretty good looking : http://i.im...

Re: Forza Motorsport Resource Extraction (.carbin)

there is any possibility that the naming is wrong somehow?
seems to be very weird that there is no name match between bones and objects

Re: Forza Motorsport Resource Extraction (.carbin)

Ok, I managed to make a tool to align all the object with the bones who match the name, the problem is that most of the object names doesn't match with the bones :/
It's a big problem

Re: Forza Motorsport Resource Extraction (.carbin)

I'm getting crazy... the name of the bones doesn't match with the name of the objects :/ for sample some objects are called FR Door when is supposed to be RR Door and so on...
is that an exporter problem or there is maybe a relationship list?

Re: Forza Motorsport Resource Extraction (.carbin)

It's sounds very good, except that you do it silently "in underground", because you can save hours of work for us... Anyway, for skeleton you'll need to process CAR\scene\CAR_skeleton.gr2 files, most of tools for other games make it through using a granny2.dll directly for import. Maybe h...

Re: Forza Motorsport Resource Extraction (.carbin)

Will it also split mesh in LODs like ForzaStudio ? yep TomWin, actually it already do it, also select what model you want for each part, like hood, bumpers, wings... now I need the skeleton to place the parts and be able to animate open/close dors and others.... the idea is ...

Re: Forza Motorsport Resource Extraction (.carbin)

Hi guys, I was reading this thread for a while but this is my first post, I think you are making an awesome work :D I'm trying to make a tool through Houdini engine that can automatically process the cars, scaling and placing the parts, assigning materials and textures, fixing UVs, creating and plac...
