Re: Metal Gear Solid 5 Ground Zeroes/Phantom Pain g0s archiv

But now due to emulators like Dolphin it can be played in HD and the low texture resolutions really do show, as do the not so great character models at times (mostly its texture stuff, which is easy to fix, but otacons model is just plain ugly). Metal Gear Solid HD Collection uses the exact same te...

Wha?... You want a nude mod of Paz?! The tortured girl with bomb in her stomach? That Paz? :? That's kinda... messed up. Personally I wanted model of Big Boss, to try to make MGS3 sneaking suit, but now... I can wait. A long time. If you don't want to release anything cra0 , hell, if you decide not ...

Re: Metal Gear Solid 5 Ground Zeroes/Phantom Pain g0s archiv

I've managed to identify two filenames in data_01.g0s... At least I think so - the textures seems to match :)

9ce24aeda49b.dds is cm_m0_w0_a1_c002_srm.dds
110aedb0f3a8.dds is cm_m0_w2_b1_c001_srm.dds

It's not much, I know, but every bit helps, right?

Re: Metal Gear Solid 5 Ground Zeroes/Phantom Pain g0s archiv

No sir, I'm merely pointing out that Creation Engine is easier to mod than Fox Engine. That's all. You and JayK and others are certainly doing great work with developing proper tools and while I personally actually haven't been able to convert any of my modified .dds back into .ftex, I trust that wi...

Re: Metal Gear Solid 5 Ground Zeroes/Phantom Pain g0s archiv

To be honest, when it comes to ease of modding, compared with engines like Creation Engine (used in Skyrim), Fox Engine isn't that good. In Skyrim, all textures are already in .dds format, and main executable is programmed to look for extra files when loading game, outside of main files. Personally,...

Re: Metal Gear Solid 5 Ground Zeroes/Phantom Pain g0s archiv

Can edit textures now How would you go about doing that? Well, converting and editing them is not a problem... mostly. Most of the textures can be converted to .dds by using JayK FTexUnpacker . It's re -packing them back into .ftex format that's been... problematic thus far. But apparently that pro...

Re: Metal Gear Solid 5 Ground Zeroes/Phantom Pain g0s archiv

I have a bug report for FtexUnpacker - there's one file it cannot convert:

\data_01\Assets\tpp\ui\texture\map\gntn_photo_clp.ftex

Other than that, stellar work all around. I anxiously await model converter :]
