Okay Vlad this is amazing, and is there anyway way someone can upload all the models to 4shared or something I want to use the to make full size pepakura armor, then use said armor to make actual armor from the pepakura ones.

By God, I've been browsing these forums for a long time but this, I had to join to say, I'd give you half the blood in my body for those models and textures.

Same here, I really want to port these armors to Skyrim or Oblivion, as well as Garry's Mod.

I just want to look at them in fine detail.

Maybe I'm a little late for the party. I've been looking for some dark souls models to use with Pepakura. I saw the awesome renders that vlad001 was able to pull but I havn't found any actual models around the webs. Can anyone share the models with me? I'm specifically looking for ornstein or Lautrec, but I'd make due with whatever the community can help with.

Just get the game; then all the models are yours.

Now that the PC version is out, is anyone taking a look at the files? They seem a bit different than the console versions.

Don't have the game .Samples? Is it just different endian?

Completely new to this, but here are some files I extracted from dvdbnd0.bdt: Here.

Also I have tried using tools that you guys have made, but I can't get anything to work, and was wondering if someone could write up an easy to follow guide? And maybe upload a compiled version of vlad's dkstools.

lol, this is the header. Everything suddenly makes sense.

Code: Select all

char[6] "FLVER "
byte endian #"B" or "L"
The format is similar though.

Would love to see some research on this game with the PC version out. I am trying myself currently, but I am still a n00b.

Not model stuff, but unpacker/unbinders.

Also, the texture format has changed from PS3 version to PC. Every texture is now a nice DDS file wrapped in the TPF format.

Can someone send me some files with proper filenames (rick's code looks like there are actual names)

I would prefer a full set including material library as well as textures.

I'm wondering if the console versions also have a similar archive format with filenames.

haekb, I see you beat it to me. Was going to provide some files as requested by finale00, thanks. The tree structure and file organisation is the same as for the PSX and XBOX 360.
