Hi guys, me and some friends are trying to translate the PC version of the game. Have someone sucessfully extracted the text files from the game? It's a great game and it needs a translation to portuguese... Thx.

i'm trying to replace the bodies of the characters. for example, i'd like to replace one of the suits phelps wears with the uniform he starts the game with. would this require actual repacking or could it be done through tinkering with memory address?

from my limited experience, there's always a text based file responsible for cataloging and referencing different assets within the package. is that typically the case with console games or are they constructed differently? because they seem difficult to mod. is that more to do with data encryption?

I heard the game files are encrypted (on PC). The likely encryption scheme used is Blowfish. Decryption key is unknown at the moment.

The HyperRipper tool works on the big.pc files, too. If it does use Blowfish then how come I managed to get the audio off the archives intact?
