1. Screenshot of the error window or at least a little more information on what the error is.
2. What 3D program are you using to import the OBJ file?

More information will get you more help.

ForgeX really doesn't works on x64 systems.
You have to plan to fix it?
Me and three other guys tried out your tool, and it only works on x86 systems.

If you setup a virtual device and install your AC and forge x on that, it will work.... Not quite x64, but its a workaround! :D

What version of 3DSMax?

Tested with 3DSMax6 and OBJ plugin -- imports mesh correctly, but does not import uv maps. [EDIT]It does import uv maps if you have that option checked[/EDIT]
Tested with 3DSMax7 -- uv maps import properly, some faces import flipped.
Tested with 3DSMax8 -- uv maps import properly, some faces import flipped.
Tested with 3DSMax9 -- uv maps import properly, some faces import flipped.
Tested with 3DSMax2010 -- uv maps import properly (best importer in my opinion).
Tested with Blender -- uv maps import properly.

3DSMax 6 does not come with the OBJ plugin, you need to download an external plugin and that could be the issue.

As for the model viewing error, are you experiencing that error with all models?

New version 4.22.0 now online.

Fixed a bug in the OBJ exporter that was not exporting material names properly.

Thanks for your support.

The uv maps were there, but the issue I think you had was due to the material name bug I found and fixed with the latest release.

I'm not sure what could be causing the model viewer issue. Are you able to view textures?

Any plan to fix also the issue on x64 systems?

Until I upgrade to a 64-bit OS... No, sorry. :(

I'm afraid at this time your only option is to try Marky's solution.

IS ther eany chance of an update to export the whole library or multiple selections soon? Its the only thing I think would be helpful.... Even exporting all textures, or export all obj's.......... Its difficuilt to find what you are looking for at the moment

Keep up the good work! :D

I have downloaded latest version but still no uv maps and no issue with viewing textures are ok.

Last thing I can think of

Image
Model in the image viewer

Open 3DSMax2010 and select the OBJ Importer
Image
Make sure the highlighted options are selected in the import window

And you should end up with this

If this still doesn't give you results, please let me know which model(s) you are trying to import.

We'll figure it out yet.

on forgeX beta/data location I think found something there is no ACR_MDL.stc file in that folder but there is ACB_MDL.stc and AC2_MDL.stc files.
can you take a look at setup?
