Hang on, Zerox, how did you get them to extract with those names? My extracted pmo's are named 1.pmo 2.pmo. How did you get them to extract with their original names?

I used Falo's BMS script. On all of the BBS# files. It does dump numbered pmo's your correct. But it also dumps named pmo's within folders. That's all there is to it.

Did you not get such files or did you extract them differently? They were in plain sight for me.

I only used it on BBS0.dat, maybe thats why.

ChrisSquareFan I see you were on Yaz0r's forum :P

Hopefully someone can work these models out, with bones and everything :P

Didnt Falo say something about the normals being auto calculated?

I'd like to start assisting with figuring out the model format. I'm new to reverse engineering and stuff though. So could anyone perhaps help me to go through what's already been figured out about the format so I could help out more? Or really any other format is fine. I'd just like to eventually be able to help out with these models more.

I looked into the pmo file, looks manageable. I'm also studying fbx sdk to make a fbx exporter.

I know, its awful wanting to help but not being able to.

Yeah, that was ages ago though ^^
At that time i managed to make an exporter using yaz0r's tool, and after that my own exporter,
but the normals got out wrong
That is how i did this:

Such a tease :P

Would you mind uploading the kh1 exporter with bones if you still have it? That would be real nice :D :P

...I feel as if I've asked that before :S lol

Ah some interesting tools. Not all of them are useful to me but they're interesting. Perhaps it's just my lack of understanding on how to effectively use them together but that's fine.

Anyway, has anyone made any progress at all on this? It would be great to have the model format figured out completely before the release of the game.
