hello guys! thanks for the quick replies!
with ur help i was finally able to extract the files form the iso image to big (around 700 mb) zip files with car models (.carbin files)
....but im stuck again. when i extract these zip files win rar gives me error for "unknown method" and extracts only the builnumber.txt for each car and thats it, no models to texture files only the text file.
any help would be greatly appreciated

So as i read the previous pages and if i correctly understood it:

There will be no Forza Studio for FM4 Cars, that are correctly mapped in Forza Studio?
Only for FM4 Tracks?

Just kidding.
I've already fixed it on my end :P The header magic changed from BIX0 to BIX1 and they started using a few different linear D3DFMTs to store their textures. Forza studio will be capable of extracting track textures :)
I presume Ernegien is talking about cars texture to, make sense both are in the same situation.... i hope so anyway... keep the good work Ernegien!

If you new to this, here my simple step to extract model from fm3/4 :
1. Search
2. Read
3. Learn
4. Practice
5. Ask

white00gt, read the file more properly.
You are trying to import an unknown file extention.
Maybe you are trying to import a car that's still not supported.

mus001, read the topic, you'll find your answer.

I suggest a moderator should close this topic untill Ernegien has something to say.
He can always pm a moderator to unlock his topic.
It's kind of useless since any new member is asking the same questions as 2 years ago.
They are not bothered to read the damn thread.

it is pointless to lock this thread, just ban or warning the ones with annoying questions lazy to read the topic. There are

already all necessary informations and guides in the topic, no problem to extract or import anything

put info and link for each version in first post would help as well

EDIT it Worked don't know what I did differently but tried it again and success, only problem is converting calipers and rotors but I can take those from other games thanks guys for all your hard work!!!!

Time to post some rare happening here.
I've been editting the Reventon engine of the Autovista version.
Like all FM4 models, the UV got screwed up, so I re-mapped them.

Here some screenshots:
