Recent Silvia FM3 extraction, LOD0 + LOD1, some little UV + textures modifications etc...
Chip Foose Smoothing Style
Time for complete extraction + conversion to Racer (all included) ~ 1-2 days....

Thanks for the latest FS 3 & 4 compilation, it finally works loading new FM4 cars & stuff !

More of my recent work :

Atzara
FreeHand
Avernaz

About those missing FM4 LOD levels, any news for when you projecting at getting them into your new FS 4 ?

I should really use them in Racer, as Ruud has implemented such feature, it's just I'm so lazy of redoing the same for > 2 levels, sure it becomes easier going up in levels, hehe, but idk, it should be the inverse, more shader sided systems (DX/OpenGL) & GPU algorithms improvements to handle 'on fly' smart meshes tessellation, imho.

I've never come across a car I couldn't import from FM4 from the very first release of FM4 Studio. :| Not sure what you experienced.

First of all big thanks to Ernegien for all his hard work.

I'm wondering if someone could test extraction of Suzuki SX4 Pikes Peak from one of the dlc sets. The cockpit works fine but the body was no go. It's the only one I've come across that gives a error. Also the Focus ST 2012 (I think it's in the same dlc) seems to export fine but is missing the bumpers, though I need to retest. I normally wouldn't bore you with this but I thought it may be beneficial to the research.

Yes dodgy i've noticed the same thing, also on the Hyundai Veloster DLC. I'm sure Ernegien will address that issue when he has time for the 'proper rewrite' he mentioned before, i dont think the problem is on our end.

Am I right?
If that's so, there is no way to import and export FM models :(
Hey BigBear, many thanks for your kind response!

My graphics card is:
Mobile Intel® 915GM/GMS,910GML Express Chipset Family (I know, I know.. I need a new computer!)

The only thing I am slightly curious about, is that I have been able to use previous versions of Forza Studio with Forza 3 and export FM models with no problems whatsoever? Is there really that much difference between Forza Studio for FM3 and Forza Studio for FM4?

Thanks again!
Is your processor an Intel 740M or something?
I have a shitty laptop with the exact same Intel chipsets as you have.
God, SA runs awful on that shit, all has to be very low than possible lol

But I moved on to a much better nVidia 9600M GT, so my SA would run FM4 Autovista models without any problems.
However, I have betrayed my left hand to leave that shitty laptop with Intel chipsets haha!

Ernegien, nice you made a fix for incredible bad videochips.
I nearly throwed my bad laptop in a bin of trash :D

I guess being able to export models from one game that has a bunch of cars and into another game that has a bunch of cars is relevant.

I'm sure some people would like some different cars to crash into walls with.
