Don't worry, I'm still alive and well :P. Things have been busy as usual, leaving me with little time for my hobbies unfortunately. I'll be wrapping up some things next week and hopefully it will free up some time to start back up on this...

Hello fellas...I have to say...thank you to all involved in this excellent program, so glad to see that Ernegien...and everyone else hasn't given up on the development for forza 4 Thank you all !
I read that the speed pack and the classic pack dlc's work fine in forza studio...I am using forza studio 10.7.11....I can only open the cockpits and the lod0 carbins...I am assuming from what i have read in the previous posts that this is normal with this version.

I also am assuming that the texture mapping is also fine?...I looked at the post from Bregel and that also says all is well...and ...looks fantastic...but I am still a bit confused :? as I am having issues with the mapping.

Is the mapping correct on the DLC's or did Bregel map that himself ? ...as it sounded the DLC's are the same as the forza 3 models.

Bregel...that 458 is total eye candy 8) and keeps me up at nite LOL

Can bigBear or Bregel shed a little light on this for me ? Either I am doing something wrong or I have misunderstood what I have read so far ...as I am feeling very stupid in a sea of intelligent fellas here lol

I am exporting as selective export from forza studio...importing into 3DS max as obj. export from Max as open collada DAE.
then into simed as DAE...and the mapping is a mess :(
this is how i always do my forza 3 models and no problems but I must be doing something wrong?
I have also imported into simed as 3DS..but...same result.

I am trying to get to simed with the mapping intact...is this possible yet ?
From what I read it seems this should be possible...but maybe i read wrong.

Any help would be greatly appreciated....thanks fellas :)

^^
As you may have read, this tool is still on development for fully supported for FM4 and the author still working on it, what I have done was just remapped with minor misplaced texture map. I wish I can help the author in his daily work, so he have a little time to finish this. :)

If you try to start a Forza Studio,
Out of the screen above, you can not start.
What shall I do?

@droid1968,

Don't worry about the UV Mapping.
It seems the Autovista models has a small correct Uv mapping.
I have noticed some objects of interior needs a big scaling.
The UV mapping is still there, but it's needs scaling.
Look for my screenshots of the Lamborghini Reventon few pages back.
As you can see, the leather and stitches are very well mapped.
Before I did that, they were too small scaled.
I had to scale the UV mapping very big to get such results.
However, the engine/engine bay is a complete mess.
It's, it's not done, the worst thing is, buttons textures are needed for the engine??
I don't know, some UV mapping looks like overlapping.
Anyway, I don't know but Turn10 can't map the engine for shit.

But, as you might have known, there are always a few people who can do better than Turn10 itself :P

Just don't worry about the programs/tools.
Forza Studio is not the final release.
We should be very very glad we can import FM4 models.
Since FM4 is released, there are really nice new cars, wich FM3 doesn't have.

Hats off to Energien :D
