I choose one file
BigFile_PS4.d01 rename it to BigFile_PS4.idm

detroit.ini looks like this
C:\Games\detroit\BigFile_PS4.idm

I suppose to see some crazy coding in cmd when hit enter, but no luck.

Looks amazing! How did you figure out where to put all the detail textures of the clothes? I'm completly lost texturing the clothes...
It's pretty straight forward to be honnest. After extraction :
  • Split each maps in specific folders RMA / Albedos / Normals
  • Flip vertically the couple of usable .dds files you can read without conversion with the provided tool
  • Convert the others and invert the alpha channel to make them usable

I didn't try to export the models to Unreal, but there are no reasons to get any importation error if you cleaned the mesh. ( Welding + individual parts renaming )

The problem here is your file renaming. You are supposed to already have BigFile_PS4.idm in your folder. Undo your renaming and it should work. Your path il good.

Good export up there, I think I'm doomed not to export anything from this game,
start to think this crashing is my PC fault, no the tools.

anyway chachachat I have tried mass of stuff, kinda loosing hope here.
Check in image, I toss everything back in there and one just one BigFile
and with all this 3 renames crashing :(

You can make it extract a full list by saying
Detroit.exe > list.txt

Will create a list of all assets from the files you have written in detroit.ini

Gosh, i'm really sorry for asking since i'm sure it's asked quite often, but does anyone have files they could provide? The game files? I wanna try this but I am in no way an expert, and i have very minimal skill. Sorry if this is bugging someone.

I'll give you one task. Find the audio file for Connor's "28 stab wounds" line and put it up on YouTube. After that, see if you can convert the rest into playable format and submit them to this site: www.sounds-resource.com
