Question about Jodie's hair: is the mesh totally missing because of the physics? Other games still have a static mesh in that case, but I suppose that depends on the way a game was made...

The hair (and dynamic clothes) is done through nodes, which I'm working on now. Those nodes have Havok physics data and a set of geometry data.

I'm very proud to announce I passed my finals exams! This means I will be moving to Breda (The Netherlands) and will start a bachelor on Indie Game Development!

Fun fact: did you know that in the time I was supposed to prepare for my finals I did most of the work on reversing Beyond? This lead to the fact that I didn't... quite... prepare well for the finals...
But I'm so fucking happy right now!

Congratulations, btw Would your tool work on Heavy Rain?
I haven't looked at Heavy Rain yet, but I know the base is the same, however, the actual data is probably very different at many points, because the new features Beyond uses.
Once I played Heavy Rain, and I got more free time, I will try to make it compatible with Heavy Rain as well (which is probably much easier than Beyond...)

What exactly is your goal in here mate ? Are you actually want to make it work and render on PC ? Include controller functionality ?

Well, I haven't set an exact goal, but I am trying to make it work on PC, yes.
As long as I don't get 100% stuck with something I'm just going to keep on reversing it and making it work on PC!

Note that Quantic Dream has been using this format since Fahrenheit, and they're probably not going to give up on it, so with a bit of luck all of their future games are going
to be playable on PC at some point!
