the exporter i make supports any version of FBX, so there won't be any problem if that importer worked with only a certain version
of FBX. Simply export to the desired version of FBX and it should work.

Hi there, has somebody else here problems to decrypt the BBS1.dat, BBS2.dat and BBS3.dat from the NA release of Birth by Sleep? Maybe there is a better method available than using the dnas decrypter by hrmifaxi.

I haven't tried Azurfan but you could always stick to the Japanese iso. The models are the same visually so there's no need to use the NA version.

(I apologize if this is the most n00bish question ever but...)

Right now I am continuing to try and learn how to create 3D models but I can never find good references and templates that would help me. Then I googled and found this thread. And I'm assuming that what you guys are doing is extracting all the BBS models into a .obj (or any other file type), correct? Well, I do have the UMD copy of BBS with me but I do not have CFW nor' can my PSP be hacked. Is there another way to be able to extract these models?

Hello TheRPGPlayer, and welcome to the internet. Here at the internet anything and everything are downloadable if you look hard enough. You don't need to rip an iso from your own UMD when you could just google search a download link for it instead.

Based on the rules I'm pretty sure I can't provide a link as to where you can find such things. In fact I'm probably on the fringe of the rules already. I definitely encourage you to obtain it from your own game rather than other more questionable methods.

You're right, but what about the models of the new keyblades and the new secret boss and his weapons. I really wanted to do something with them.

Seems to me you aren't using Falo's QuickBMS script. It extracts the pmo's and such for you. Give that a try on the NA release and you should be successful.

I'm using it already but because BBS1-BBS3 are encyrpted the script won't find anything.

What he says is true.
They changed something in the english version, most likely the encryption. None of the tools that worked with Jap BBS work with NA or EUR one.
I wish someone could make a universal extract for all the files, since I was hoping to get my hands on the pmf and at3 files aswell.
If anyone picks this up and makes a proper extractor for the NA version, I'll be very grateful. By the way espio, it's Aurenasek from Qhimm here. Cheers mate.

I'd be fully capable of such an image if what you want is height comparisons. Why you'd ask me specifically I don't know but I am capable of such yes.
