Re: The Last of Us Model/Animation Tools (PS4)
Whats wrong with you still write that "i'm not doing any reversing work for a long time now." But its not important, i search someone who create a maptool for tlou2, and when you dont wanna make a decision if your do it or not, dont waist my time

I'm just telling you that you misread my words. Or wrong translation.
You are saying lies about me, and this is important.

Because you post a lie here. And people may think that this is real.
If you will delete your words where you say "daemon1 will never do it", i will stop interfering.

Excuse me while I go and be le sad
What would one have to do to get stm animations into fbx? I assume it's a complicated nightmare, but if no one else has time or interest, I wouldn't mind learning and sharing.

Re: The Last of Us Model/Animation Tools (PS4)
Kind of. Loading animations from stm isn't too hard and it works same as loading pak animations. You can read it in the first post. The problematic part is that the cutscene sequence is split into chunks and the tool will load each chunk as a new animation. So you need to manually extract every chunk and merge in a 3D software atm. I am thinking of adding some updates like auto merge stm animations and bulk exporting. However, I don't know when I will have time/interest to do it.

Damn, that sounds a bit strange to me, I wonder why the game works like that. Thanks for the info. I really hope you get the itch and urge to make an STM TLOU2 tool. I know I'll be keeping my eyes open for it cause that tool you mentioned sounds excellentakderebur wrote: ↑Tue Apr 27, 2021 7:19 pmKind of. Re: The Last of Us Model/Animation Tools (PS4)
You should consider the target console of the game. It was designed to run on a PS3 with only 256MB RAM . So, everything is divided into small chunks that are loaded into the memory when they are required. It is basically a design choice for efficient memory usage.ExactExtract wrote: ↑Tue Apr 27, 2021 7:31 pm Damn, that sounds a bit strange to me, I wonder why the game works like that.

Re: The Last of Us Model/Animation Tools (PS4)
akderebur, can you adjust the TLOU viewer so that the export model function exports models with the "NUXroot" instead of the "root" for the bones so that it can be compatible with the root motion animations? Thanks for your help by the way.
