ARchive_neXt
Re: ARchive_neXt
Also, does anyone know where the redcoat soldiers/captains' textures are located? They seem to use CHR_Shared_Cloth_*something*, but I only managed to find the Normal and Diffuse versions, no Specular

Re: ARchive_neXt
ARchive_neXt can already extract from those games afaik.fahad00 wrote:Hello Can anyone please create Assassin's Creed 1, 2, brotherhood and syndicate forge extractor
About the missing files/textures, sadly you have to dig further into the archives. The structure is a bit messy in some cases and what you're looking for could be hidden in different packages.
Re: ARchive_neXt
Is there any way to extract the text from the games, like the subtitles or description text ?

Re: ARchive_neXt
Is it possible to make extraction of all assets at once? it's very timetaking to export resources one by one to be able to combine them into full character.

Re: ARchive_neXt
Not that I'm aware of... the way it is now you have to extract everything manually, unless I'm wrong. And even if you could extract all the parts at the same time you'd still need to combine everything yourself, loading each mesh and texture one by one.Tosyk wrote:Is it possible to make extraction of all assets at once? it's very timetaking to export resources one by one to be able to combine them into full character.

Re: ARchive_neXt
I'm unable to see the texture with the mesh like the above image.
I can see the textures and white meshes separately but not together.
Can anybody tell me what is the problem?
I am using ARchive_neXt latest version 4.3.27.0 and trying to view model from "AC Unity".

Re: ARchive_neXt
As far as I know, a lot of people have issues displaying models properly in ARchive_neXt. For some (like me) the models can't even be loaded and they get an error message every time. I am honestly not sure why you see the models but without textures... does it happen with every archive? My only guess is that in some cases, the tool cannot properly locate the maps automatically and thus it won't load them along with the characters (there are some archives which contain the models, but you have to look for their textures elsewhere). If it happens with all the archives I'm afraid I have no clue... see if MDA knows what's going on on your part.blackfoxeye wrote:I'm unable to see the texture with the mesh like the above image.

RunaWhite, has a pretty good understanding of my program. If you are able to view the model, but it is not textured, it is most likely caused by the program not being able to find the associated textures. If you have an idea of where those textures are located, try expanding those datafiles prior to viewing the model. There is a video on my website that shows what I am talking about.RunaWhite wrote:My only guess is that in some cases, the tool cannot properly locate the maps automatically and thus it won't load them along with the characters (there are some archives which contain the models, but you have to look for their textures elsewhere). If that doesn't work, give me some example models and I'll see if I can recreate the issue and possibly fix it if it's a bug.
Thanks,

Re: ARchive_neXt
Also, this may sound weird but... I recently noticed that sometimes the tools can't properly work because of the game itself. Meaning, it all depends on how your files are structured and if everything is installed correctly.
A few months ago I reported an issue regarding Jacob's textures in Jack the Ripper, which for some reason appeared corrupted. At some point, Uplay randomly decided to download the DLC all over again and right after that I could see the textures properly... no more issues.
So yeah, maybe this is not the case... but sometimes it's something not related to the program.
