Re: Namco playstation sound format .Npsf sound/audio format (Namco psp and ps2 games)

Just an addition - if you change the extension, that will only play the first file in the archive.

To play them all, you will need to extract the individual NPSF sections, using something like VGMToolbox (Advanced Cutter option). There should be 12 songs in that archive.

Re: MLB 09 The Show PS3 .WAD File

I don't think anyone will download 11 GB just to look at a file!

It's probably best if you just extract a small part of it - maybe the first 10 MB or so, and upload that instead.

Re: I can't extract some audio from Cyberpunk 2077

No, I could only hear some very crackly engine noises, but a lot of it's too noisy to make out anything specific.

Re: I can't extract some audio from Cyberpunk 2077

Well, I've had a look and couldn't find anything that would play it properly. Using a variety of IMA codecs, I could hear some garbled engine sounds, but nowhere near playable. Unfortunately, it appears to be some new variation of Wwise format so vgmstream won't play it. Existing tools won't work ei...

It's probably best to upload a sample of one of the BNK files.

Try this QuickBMS script. It works for that archive, not sure about others.

Re: SRST

I couldn't get the archive to load directly into Foobar, but you can use the attached QuickBMS script to extract all of the individual audio files, which will play in Foobar/vgmstream.

Re: maimai DX SPLASH .acb & .awb file extract?

Try reinstalling the vgmstream plugin. It didn't work for me until I installed the latest one, and now both files play correctly.

Re: maimai DX SPLASH .acb & .awb file extract?

Both of those files are encrypted, but if you download Foobar and the latest vgmstream plugin, it will play both of them, and you can then convert them if you choose.

Re: Medal of Honor Vanguard Wii viv files

The attached script will extract that sample VIV file. The files extracted all seem to the other type of VIV file, with the "BIGF" header, which other scripts should be able to read.

Your menu1 example plays fine in Foobar with the vgmstream plugin, so give that a go. It's much easier than using command line tools.

Re: Resident Evil 4 PS2 .snd audios

This probably won't help with repacking (not my area of interest usually), but this QuickBMS script will extract all of the sounds from the .snd files.

There are about 11,000+ files in total. It should get you a start at least.

Re: Total War : Warhammer 2 OST

The only reason I know what that part of the key is is because I know what the .wem file header info should be, as it's a standard RIFF format. Some of the info in the encrypted file is clearly visible like "RIFF" and "WAVE", so the key for those bytes is 0 as they don't change. ...

Re: Total War : Warhammer 2 OST

Looks like simple Xor encryption, but not sure about the length of the decryption key. It's easy enough to guess the first 16 bytes of the key from the header, which is "\x00\x00\x00\x00\x3e\xb2\xaf\xc0\x00\x00\x00\x00\x32\x96\xd9\xc1". The full key might be in the executable file, but I c...
