Forza Horizon 4 gamedbRC (.SLT)
Hi, there was previously some talk a few years back about opening the database for Forza 6 Apex, but not much progress seemed to be made. Now that Forza Horizon 4 is out and has some interesting cars in it, I thought it was worth trying again to see if there was any interest. I've uploaded the file ...

Re: Forza Apex database - gamedb.slt
I've done some digging in the game's .exes and I've found the following stuff mentioned: - TransformIT (encryption maybe?) - Microsoft's Crypto libraries such as bcrypt.dll - RSA 1024 "Client" and "Server" and "Private" keys - "gamedb_obfusctationseed" - "...

Re: Forza Apex database - gamedb.slt
Hey, just bumping because I'd appreciate some help. Soon enough Forza's DLC is going to include cars that don't have any row in the unencrypted leaked database file. Is it possible for someone to investigate how to open and/or dump this database file? http://www62.zippyshare.com/v/b9FmbsCZ/file.html...

Re: Forza Motorsport Resource Extraction (.carbin)
This was the first thing to pop up, then it comes up with impactmask.swatchbin and so on. It says compression wrong, are you sure you using the same zip compression as in game? And what about using extracted folder instead of zip? Using an extracted folder I was met with this: http://i.imgur.com/4U...

Re: Forza Motorsport Resource Extraction (.carbin)
@shakotay2 I just tested the J2 version on the Audi RS2. I get an error saying "too many faces in AUD_RS2_95_skeleton.modelbin, then I get the standard Windows "*exe* has stopped working" message. Here's the file it complained about if you want to investigate. thx; I didn't care for ...

Re: Forza Motorsport Resource Extraction (.carbin)
i see on russian site models from FH3 in gameformats Q.: How unpack FH3 appx on Windows 7 ? Windows 7 can't do anything appx related. GameModels.ru is uploading FH3 models including Lamborghini Centenario Those are just ripped from the game, they're not in any usable formats, so that doesn't help t...

Re: Forza Motorsport Resource Extraction (.carbin)
New about new version Forza Studio(FM6A and FH3 support) ? How about stop asking and be patient? yep, and hoods, too, dunno about the reasons. Just applied the positions from the modelbins, as above. (But I'll look whether it's a constant offset for all models - then I could try to fix it. Ok, wait...

Re: Forza Motorsport Resource Extraction (.carbin)
Well apart LODs that are merged all together also models dont have materials yet and incorrect UV. I think they are in very huge scale too. Hope this problems can be solved, it's amazing that you already got until this point of progress. Good luck BTW. any idea how to open textures? Speaking of tex...

Re: Forza Motorsport Resource Extraction (.carbin)
Also, @shakotay2, I understand that it's a huge undertaking so the answer is likely no, but would there ever be plans to somehow repackage edited models back as a modelbin that the game can support?

That's not the DB11, it's the Bentley EXP6.aliann34 wrote:This is Aston Martin DB11 model. Very good model but not complete. Keep up going.
I'll fix that: http://www103.zippyshare.com/v/GjfInQVv/file.htmlshakotay2 wrote:don't have that sample.

Re: Forza Motorsport Resource Extraction (.carbin)
I believe the avpins files are simply the animations/position translations of the car parts in Autovista mode, hence "HoodClosed" and stuff like that, as well as avpins = AutoVistapins

Re: Forza Motorsport Resource Extraction (.carbin)
Bumping, but it's for potentially useful stuff if not already known. There's a guide on Se7ensins discussing the formats of Forza 4 models here: https://www.se7ensins.com/forums/threads/big-tu-3d-forza-4-editing.1384518/ It explains the structures and positionings of items on the car, which material...
