Re: Tetsujin Returns [3DO] .stream
The audio is 3DO SDX2. Change the extension to .STR and try this updated vgmstream plugin. When available, I recommend the official vgmstream builds since they contain some additional codecs.

Re: Armored Core titles [PS2] .ADX
This is actually an .ADS file. Raw PCM. Just rename the extension to ".ADS" and it should play fine in vgmstream. Armored Core - Last Raven: SS2 Armored Core 2: ADS Armored Core 2: SS2 Armored Core 3: ADS Armored Core 3: ADS These are the formats for each game, according to what I've been ...

Re: Project Eden (EDS|PDS)
The PS2 version contains standard Sony ADPCM. It seems to contain some movie dialogue for multiple languages. I don't have time to figure out the virtual file system right now, but that should get you started. If you want a quick listen, trim the first 0x2000 bytes and change the file extension on w...

Re: PS2 File problem? ADPCM
Works fine with the vgmstream WinAmp plugin . Be sure to read the readme file in the zip as it requires some additional .dll files. Just FYI, the interleave is 0x6200. In the future, for most PS2 ADPCM files, you can copy the first 0x10 bytes of data , and do a search for them in your hex editor. Ty...

Re: [PS3] Ni No Kuni - SGB/SGH
These are SGH/SGB files with AC3 data. I'm pretty sure that support hasn't been added to VGMStream yet though. For now, rename the *.SGB files to *.AC3 to listen and use an AC3 plugin or whatever. Unfortunately, the loop info will be lost without the info from the .SGH files.

Seems the data is in an EDAT file from what I've seen. I think this format cannot yet be decrypted.

Just wanted to add that the latest version of VGMToolbox, r835, can now demux THP files (including the sample from the first post).

[PS2] Robot Alchemic Drive - Compressed PS2 Sequences
I've got a file from Robot Alchemic Drive [SLUS-20445]. It appears to be an archive of standard PS2 "MIDI" sequences with some sort of compression. With my limited knowledge it seems like some sort of LZ compression, since it has what may be the starting buffer, and then some recognizable ...

Re: extracting the audio of PS3 *.usm videos - NEED HELP!
fb2.usm They contain several audio streams in adx format with speech in different languages (but identical size), and one larger audio stream which won't play and I presume contains background music/soundfx. This one is almost 3 times the size of one speech adx, give or take a few bytes. Tested wit...

Re: extracting the audio of PS3 *.usm videos - NEED HELP!
but some audio streams, I think background music, wouldn't play in winamp. I don't know if this has something to do with the tool or the winamp plugin. Can you tell me a few of the names of files that won't play? Also, bxaimc has mentioned that some of the extracted files have loop start and end se...

Re: def jam rapstar .tra file format
As bxaimc replied to your same question before, http://forum.xentax.com/viewtopic.php?f=17&t=5520 , the vgmstream plugin (hcs64.com/files/vgmstream/) for Winamp can handle these files. Using that plugin with Winamp's File Writer plugin you can output the files to WAV (and maybe MP3). Be sure to ...

Re: Help with Atelier Iris
From RPK files I have seen, the offset records are in the PS2 executable file. Each record is 0xC bytes in length with a format like:
0x00 - 0x03: Unknown
0x04 - 0x07: Offset/0x800
0x08 - 0x0B: Size
So find some known file types and search by offset or length values to find the table.
